A Mask That Works! *by C***S on November 24, 2025* The foam cushion makes all the difference. Minimal face discomfort and fewer leaks. This is the third mask that I have tried after experiencing massive leaks, face pain, facial dents and skin irritation using the hard plastic masks that did not have the foam cushion. Like all masks, it takes getting used. This is a game changer. Note: Must use disposable CPAP wipes to clean; mask must not get wet. This mask must be replaced more often than the hard plastic mask. Manufacturer recommends monthly replacement; however, I replace mine every three weeks. My Insurance limits the frequency on which it will pay for this mask so I’m out of pocket somewhat buying the mask every three weeks. It is worth it. I almost gave up using the machine until I found this mask. My apnea episodes have gone from 55 per hour to four per hour so I’m finally getting some sleep! Amazon offers the best price and it’s even less $ because I subscribe. Be sure to get the correct size mask! Many mask brands provide a simple easy to use paper measuring tool that measures the width of the nose. Your prescribing doctor should also have this tool.
