Right out of the gate I’ll say I love this attachment. For the price you pay it is an excellent deal to do the same thing that buying a full blown tool to do this specific job would do. It’ll work with any drill and it sinks the screws for drywall right where they need to be. I’ve been working on a kitchen remodel for the last month and I’ve had to tear out several walls and reinstall sheet rock and it has worked perfectly almost every time. The times it didn’t work so great are when I missed the stud and drove it through just the sheet rock. I’m glad I decided to buy this small attachment rather than an entire tool to do this job. I saved myself money and was able to get the job done with no issues. I love the way it counter sinks the drywall screw to the correct depth every time. I would recommend when you first start using it to do a few test screws on an old piece of sheet rock and a 2 x 4 so you can get the feel of how it counter sinks the screw. Once you do that, you’re on your way.

I absolutely love these Adjustable DIMPLER attachments! As someone who doesn't do drywall everyday, investing 00 in a dedicated drywall drill, like the Dewalt I saw on Facebook Marketplace, just isn't practical. These $20 attachments are a wonderful fix, offering incredible value and functionality. They work pretty good, especially when compared to using an impact driver for drywall screws. With an impact, you almost always go too deep, tearing the paper and creating extra work. The DIMPLER helps prevent that. I used it on the deepest setting, and it performed adequately. There were a few instances where I felt like the screws didn't go quite deep enough, but honestly, that's a common occurrence when working with drywall, even with specialized tools. It's a minor trade-off for the consistency it provides. For anyone needing to tackle drywall projects occasionally, this is an excellent solution. It converts your existing drill into a capable drywall screw gun, saving you from over-driving screws and making the job much cleaner. Highly recommend for the convenience and value!

This little gadget works like its supposed to. It took a little trial and error but It was worth it to not have to buy a drywall screw gun. Mone well spent.

It does the job but I can't get it to function like it shows. NO INSTRUCTIONS! I messaged the seller but just told it was simple and needed no instructions. It functions but does not hold the screw like shown on the site. It has 4 settings but with no manual or guide it is hard to know how or when to use which setting. With no manual, guide, instructions included, there should be clear instructions on the Amazon page. Service is pretty much non-existent. It has proved useful but also super frustrating 😑 😒 No matter what I do, I cannot get it to hold/grip the screw like in the photos. Screw sticks off end of device and just falls off the end). Photos seem to show the screw head "in" the device and held by powerful magnet 🧲. To its credit, it does stop the screw from "over-driving", which is why I bought it.

Do not recommend this product. Of course it’s adjustable but the shaft moves. If you apply to much force the bit will come out past the set depth making you sink the screw it to far

Works good as stated. I Like the adjustable drive depth. Can get to desired depth in a couple of tries, then don’t have to guess with each screw. Probably not commercial duty but great for DIY.

It took me some time to fully get to know this tool, but now I love it. It nicely bridges the gap between trying to drive drywall screws with just a Phillips driver bit in a cordless drill and spending the money on a dedicated drywall screw gun. My project is going to take something like 40 sheets of drywall, and the adjustable Dimpler is durable enough to get my project done for sure. I had some issues understanding the settings, and while the numbers are a bit counter-intuitive, (#1 is the deepest setting and #4 is the shallowest,) it performs well. Use setting #2 99% of the time and you're good to go. I had some worries that the diameter of the tool would keep me from getting into tight corners, and it does to a certain extent, but it isn't the problem that I though it would be. The customer support is phenomenal, and the phone number on the back of the package really does connect you by text to somebody who wants to help and can help. The company says it's robust enough to do deck screws with a Torx bit as well, so I'll test that when it's time to screw down underlayment for my project floors. They even coached me that when it's time to replace the bit, wiggle the new bit in with a circular motion for best results. Well worth the $20.
