KID PIX 3D for Windows

Does not work with windows 8. Waste of money

It is OK. Some features are more intuitive and easier to use than others. My main problem is the save feature and the many random error messages. Sometimes it saves a slide, sometimes it doesn't. We finally figured out that sometimes it was being saved with all the other slides in the presentation, and other times it was being saved in a different file, for no reason that we could determine. It is a cool program, but it just had several technical errors. Several times it shut itself down because of error (without saving the work, of course). Sometimes, it would get stuck on a screen with an error message and there was no correcting it until you shut it down. The ability to add your own voice, pictures, drawings intrigued my 8 year old and he enjoyed using the program, despite the high frustration level when he would have to redo what he just did because it saved or shut down improperly.

This is a very creative program for kids of all ages. I really like that added features including the videos, the easy access to itunes songs that can be incorporated into slides. And all the old drawing and fill features are still present. Besides just being fun, this is a great program for teaching kids to make slide presentations with multimedia content. Very versatile. You can import pictures and other content, plus, you can export your slideshows as Quicktime videos. And most important, the program runs well, no stalls or freezing, very responsive, and it installs quite easily. I have it running on a Win 7 64-bit system. The only con is that the "3D" is okay, marginal, using Quicktime and the 3D glasses. But that is a minor minor complaint as the program is just so rich, and the 3D is pretty irrelevant to my needs and uses of the program. I have kids using it a lot and they love it.

This is very Similar to Kid Pix 3X with the addition of basic 3D animation and 3D art. It is an okay upgrade from Kid Pix 4 and 3X. I still think 3X is much better. Young kids and the young at heart will appreciate this version. I own version 3X and this version is similar to what I have with some differences. I recommending going to the official website of Kid Pix and downloading the 15 day free trial to discover the new features Kid Pix 3D has to offer both young kids and fans of the original kid pix.

this wonderful software can do all kinds of things like art creation and animation. I also like the geography button, there are country shapes in black and white from all over the world. Very interesting.

My kids love it. Similar to the old KidPix so they recognize where to go and what to do but the new content is great.

We love that they used some of the same abilities as the original! Fun and HD even without the 3D glasses. We love it!

I used this when I taught school. Wanted it for my home computer to use with my grandchildren. It was just what I was looking for.
