Strong and works well

Got these in the thinking they would be another piece to the puzzle of my compact home gym and yes, I was right. I’ve bought RDX products before such as boxing gloves, skipping ropes and hand wraps, all of which are high quality. These ab straps are no exception, very well made and got together easily without instructions. Slightly more expensive than others but they’re worth it in my opinion. If you’re wanting to build strong abdominal muscles for whatever reason then I can thoroughly recommend these straps. The real advantage of using these over doing floor work is you’ll naturally get a full stretch at the bottom of every rep thanks to gravity, whilst having more than enough resistance from your own weight to build the ab muscles. It doesn’t take long to really start feeling the exercises working. Finding workouts to do is easy thanks to good old YouTube. I hang these from my wall mounted pull up bar which I know is more than strong enough to hold my weight. The only problem with the whole idea of these straps is not everyone has something sturdy enough to hang them from. So see what you have to hand or nearby to you before buying.

These might take a bit of getting used to at first, but they certainly work well. I was finding that my grip was giving in before I could work my abdominal muscles efficiently, with hanging leg raises. These are really comfortable and I have managed to do more leg raises than ever before. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing! I will have to think of some harder exercises to do, or do them much slower. I really like that you can adjust these so that you are higher from the floor. Great product and would recommend to those who are having a similar issue with grip. I will be using these on a regular basis, at least until I can sort out my grip strength anyway. Of course, there are alternative abdominal exercises that you can do too, but these are great if you really like the benefit of leg or knee raises.

Excellent item. They are very comfortable and easy to use. The are built well. Very pleased.

I have no experience of using any other hanging abs straps to compare this product to. These Abs straps do seem to be well made. They easily hold my (well over 100kg) weight with ease. Easy to attach and detach due to them being fitted with carabiners. Simple to adjust the length too. Personally I would have preferred if they had more neoprene padding inside the leather. Partly because of my heavier build and I like things to be as comfortable as possible. Also because my triceps were suffering from a big workout the previous day, when I put these more through their paces. They felt okay when tested out immediately after a chest & triceps workout. The following day when I again tested these out and used them for the abs part of my workout; my triceps had DOMS and the pressure of my weight compressing my triceps against the leather of these straps caused my triceps much more additional soreness. The grip jackets are fine but can fall down, when not being used and held. Being sold in a range of 7 colours provides variety and one or more of the colours should appeal to most people. Providing a drawstring storage bag would be a welcomed addition. A storage bag would give them some protection from scuffs and scrapes. Plus make it easier to take these abs straps to a gym. Although they could be used anywhere with a sturdy structure to hang them on. I do think it is a shame a storage bag is not currently included. It would be helpful if the product listing could actually state the maximum weight that these can safely take. Many fitness accessories do state what they are rated to but many don’t. It is a pet peeve of mine when they don’t.

I had these years ago and wanted to use the ab straps again. This is a great workout for abs! After reviewing quite a few, I chose this one and am happy with the purchase. What set this apart were the adjustable straps. Since I put this on a chin up bar, I was concerned with being able to easily get in the straps. After using these once, I adjusted the straps and am able to get my arms in while standing on the floor without issues. Another nice feature is the hand grips on the straps. I appreciate the hand grips over having only straps to hold onto. My other ab straps didn't have this. The width of the strap to support me is good. I did not feel like they were too narrow at all. The inside feels like a cushioned neoprene, which is comfortable while hanging. Overall, great product and would recommend it.
