I used my magnifying glass and looked all over the plastic itself and read all of the information on the box. My old popper blew the hot air from the sides of the chamber. It heated the kernels as it blew them around in a circle. You only got an old maid if a popped kernel bumped it out as it popped. This model has the hot air come straight from the bottom. If you don't start with a full measure of corn, most of it will blow out without popping. Even with a full measure, if estimate about a quarter of the kernels are blown out without popping. Most didn't even make it to old maid stage. If you add to much, there's not enough air flow to lift the kernels resulting in a lot of smoke and potential fire. Overall, it's a waste of corn and not enjoyable to eat because of the raw kernels.
