Fantastic Mic, doesn't disappoint
I LOVE this mic. It picks up the full range and tones of my voice, and doesn't drop out my low range. It picks up high loud belting and whispers. I play rock in a loud band. This mic was a game changer for me.

Fantastic mic! 🎤 🥇
Great mic! I am a stage singer in a rock band, with a wide range, and I like everything from the quiet breaths to the high belting to sound like I do in the shower. 🚿 I was using the Shure MS58 and was not aware of what it lacked until my drummer 🥁offered me his mic to use. Wow!! What a difference! I had to have one of my own, immediately. Beautiful! Crisp! Clean! 🏵️ Bear in mind, it is super cardioid, so be sure to have this right near your mouth and don’t stray from the path. Any offset of your aim and it may not pick up your voice as well as it could if you stay in line with the head of the mic. Background noise is little to none. Fantastic for a loud atmosphere. And durable as they get. Definitely worth every penny and then some!🥇

So powerful!
I already had my E935 and was happy with it but then I saw this one on sale one day and decided to give it a try. This is as much of a great quality mic as the E935, but supercardioid! The same beautiful, clear sound with a bit of a deeper range of sound pickup, love it! It's great to use for singing while playing an instrument, because you have that specific sweet spot to sing to without fearing about other sounds bleeding too much into the mix. And the materials and design are great, so it performs great but it also looks and feels great.

Favorite mic for years, Copy??
I've got an e945 that has been my favorite mic since 2010. (lead vocals, rock band). I have lots of live vocals mics, SM58s, 57s, Beta 58s, 835's, etc, and found the e945 to be my favorite for sound for my voice. I like the feel on the lips singing into it and has been solid. I've never seen an e945 near as cheap as this anywhere, so I was concerned, but followed pricing for a while. The store seemed legit so I bought an extra just to have as the price was coming down. I compared in my studio side to side (old one with tape) and it seems to sound the same as my original e945. The logo design is different, as seen in the picture. I'm guessing they may have made some units quicker and with different materials due to Covid supply issues, but the mic so far seems fine and sounds either exactly the same to me or at least very close. Update Dec 2023: Definitely seems like it's a copy, I imagine won't last. Haven't been using it, but it sounded good. Not happy that I emailed Sennheiser to give them a heads up, with pics and links, and they didn't confirm, as if they didn't care. If it was my company, I'd be pissed if they were mis representing my quality products with copies and keeping all the $.

Sound like glass.
Best microphone I've ever owned. I've sung with the Electrovoice PL88L for 30 years, then the Shure 58, 58Beta, and now this... it's like glass.

Great microphone!
I love the Sennheiser brand in general. I have 4 wireless mikes by them and a couple for miking guitar amps and now a couple handheld ones. I like that the mikes are good at rejecting feedback. I like to move around and off the stage and I usually can do so without fear of feedback. The mike looks good and for my tenor/bari voice smoothes out the sound of it

I've been using the e945 for about six months now. I was previously using an SM58 Beta but found it wasn't cutting through as much as I wanted. Some background: I'm the lead singer in an indie/rock covers band. I'm singing over roughly three octaves as we cover a wide range of material. I'd been using the SM58 Beta very successfully until this band when I decided I needed something slightly different, particularly to pick up some of the lower melodies. The e945 has proven to be very successful both live and in rehearsal. It picks up all frequencies brilliantly and, as I've said before, does brilliantly on the lower end of my range where I'm not as powerful. Mic control is much easier and this is more forgiving than Shure mics for when you're caught in the moment and forget exactly where you're supposed to be! We play live a lot and it was important that this mic was rugged; no worries there. It's had a lot of use in the last six months and is still in perfect condition. This is an incredibly versatile microphone and is a definite alternative for Shure. I've since used it for acoustic music as well and found that it's easier to achieve the tone I want. Lovely.
