I bought the Toxin Absorber Filter hoping it would handle more than just dust; I especially wanted help with basement air and litter box smells. I first ran it overnight in our downstairs, partially finished basement; it’s cool, dark, and has had moisture issues in the past. The PM reading dropped to 1; I wasn’t sure it was accurate, but it gave me hope. To test it further, I moved the unit upstairs while I cooked; the PM number jumped and the light turned red. As the air cleared, so did the reading; that’s when I really saw the filter doing its job. I also tried it in the bedroom, which stays closed up and isn’t deep cleaned often. The PM reading went up slightly; it didn’t spike, but enough to show the filter was catching something. I have seasonal allergies, and after running the purifier with this filter overnight, I woke up without the usual sinus headache. I had also hoped it would eliminate odd smells in the house more noticeably; it didn’t do that drastically, but after reading more, I saw it never claimed to remove all odors—just help minimize them. That made me trust the product more; the description felt honest. The filter is larger than expected; it seems to do a thorough job, especially when paired with the 600S. I’ve chosen to keep it in our kitchen/living area where the air changes the most. I’ll definitely repurchase this filter when it’s time; it’s made a difference I can feel!

LEVOIT sits high atop the heap of “Air-Purifiers” out there. And that quality assurance extends to LEVOIT Genuine Core 600S-P Air Purifier Toxin Absorber Replacement Filters. They’re expensive. They are also worth it. I love to save money. I need to save money. But I regret every single “knock-off” product I have tried that “fits” my LEVOIT 600S-P Air Purifier. They fit, sometimes. They just never touch the quality of legitimate LEVOIT FILTERS. I wish I could tell you to trust “off-brand” versions of LEVOIT’S varied types of WORLD CLASS FILTERS. Don’t bother. The first thing you notice when using the real filter is that the sound is obviously quieter. There’s an obvious marriage between LEVOIT 600S-P and authentic LEVOIT FILTERS. In my experience, their scent is clearly what LEVOIT intends. I trust legit filters like this one. The others? Not so much...

Honestly the best filter I've ever had. It does a great job at reducing any scents or anything else that might come in the room on me. Our room is off a kitchen so sometimes you can smell the cooking and it can get to me. But this fixes that issue together with the purifier itself. I hope they never stop making these. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for honestly. They're well constructed and fit perfectly. Just make sure you occasionally take it out and wipe off the exterior pre filter and you're good to go again until it reaches the end of its life. We use ours constantly and have never had an issue with them.

Smoke filters work wonders on all smoke

Living with a smoker creates definite air quality issues. This filter does a tremendous job of removing that very unpleasant odor. The only negative is the very high price.

Doesn’t work at all for odor. Save your money. For me the Levoit 600 was a complete bust with regular filter and I purchased 2nd carbon filter. Air quality shows no improvement. I don’t understand all the good reviews for Levoit.

This is my second purchase of this air filter for my Levoit Air Filter Core 600S Air Purifier. I use this by my cats kitty litter boxes. While nothing really takes the stink after a kitty poops ; b , it seems to help with odor elimination. When I change the filter I do see the dust and kitty on fur so i know it works. The only concern i have is to see how long I can stretch the filter for. I changed it because the red light came on the air purifier to change it but after i installed a new one in the air purifier didn't pick it up. I had to reset that alarm which makes me think whether its going by the air purifiers programming or really monitoring the filter. Maybe I can stretch the life of the filter drum next time by vacuuming the filter drum of the dust and fur. The product page mention this filter is last 6-12 months but I dont think thats quite accurate. I have purchased 2 already in 6 months so how long it lasts depends on what you are using it for at home and the fan settings (low and high settings). At 67 dollars a pop, it can be expensive but i think it works for me.

I have been so happy with their air purifiers and filters. They last long and work as expected, and are a great product for the price.
