I absolutely love this product! I already own several Philips Hue devices, and this Tap Dial Switch is a fantastic addition to the setup. It has a sleek, modern design that looks great on the wall, but what I really appreciate is that it’s also portable—so I can carry it around the house and use it wherever I need.Setup was quick and straightforward, and the few control buttons make it easy to use while still offering multiple functions. I love being able to switch between scenes, dim the lights, and adjust the ambiance so easily. Just what I needed. I already had the standard Hue switch but this is next level. Controls up to 4 zones (or whatever Hue lights you want to add to each button) plus a dial to dim a light (or group of lights) of your choice. It's pretty, functional and a breeze to install/configure. Well worth its price.

Originally for Philips Hue light controls but 4 buttons and a dial? Had to put it into Home Assistant for an overall control and wow, it blew my mind. There are others who do wheels, who do buttons but this is on another level. Not just because it's super fast in response, it's Matter compatible, it's massive, it's not expensive.For some who might be thinking about it, allow me to share one of my setup for this in Home Assistant. I've created a helper to check which button was the last clicked (automation updates that selector), then the dial is linked to that control so imagine the following: button 1 is living room, button 2 is for dining room. Press button 1 which can do like turn on the lights but if you press it again, turns off the lights and the dial can be aligned with dimming. Same can be done with music playlists, volume control, blinds positioning, colour changes in given room just to name a few...It is a powerhouse of a control device. Originally it's allowing you to assign short and long presses until you figure it out in Home Assistant that you can count presses as well. Meh, might as well create a Simon Says Toy from it by making my home say out loud which buttons to say.Connectivity is via Zigbee to a Hue Hub, as expected, it's rock solid, material is well made, doesn't feel cheap at all, dial is a bit stiff but just at the point where it still feels comfortable to be used. Attaching to it's plate with magnets.

Pricey but offered the most suitable solution for controlling a smart light in a child's bedroom. Sturd well built and colour blends in well with other switches. I have this connected to home assistant and it was simple to connect.

The Hue Tap Dial Switch is an amazing product that allows you to fine-tune your brightness level with ease. The dial operates smoothly and doesn’t feel as clunky as just a button like on the standard Hue dimmer remote. Additionally, the wall mount can be screwed on top of a standard switch blanking plate as the spacing of the screw holes in the wall plate are perfect. All you would need is longer M5 screws. The buttons are programmable in the Hue app, and by default, button 1 is press once to activate time-based light and press and hold to turn off the lights. Using Hue Essentials, you can more finely tune the buttons with fade effects, etc. The Hue Tap Dial Switch is made of plastic but feels like a high-quality item. The appearance is stylish; however, it may not be native to people who are not used to smart homes and Hue accessories, so if you have others in your household, you may need to explain how to use it. Finally the product is so power efficient that it only requires one cr2032 cell for power. (included and pre-installed when purchased)Overall, I love this product. It’s accessories like this that make the Hue system worth it.

Really worth getting for the third party apps. There is so much you can do with these and even better the fact you can set up routines with Alexa for the buttons in addition to. Really smooth for dimming, very well built and performs great with no lag. Perfect for getting the right brightness in a room and fits perfectly over existing switch. Brilliant that you can do things like set ring alarm by pressing one of the buttons. Possibilities are endless with this! So impressed!

Ich habe in meinem Haus mittlerweile fast ausschließlich Hue-Lampen verbaut, weil ich die Lichtqualität einfach liebe. Bisher war ich mit den klassischen Vier-Tasten-Schaltern unterwegs – oben an, unten aus, Mitte hell/dunkel. Praktisch, aber nicht spektakulär.Dann kam der Hue Tap Dial Schalter – und seitdem will ich die alten kaum noch sehen. Das Rad außen zum Dimmen ist nicht nur clever, sondern fühlt sich auch noch richtig gut an. Ich nutze es im Wohnzimmer und habe endlich eine feinere, intuitive Steuerung.Das eigentlich Geniale: Der Schalter mit seinen vier Tasten passt perfekt zu meiner Wohnsituation. Unsere Wohnung ist genauso angeordnet wie die Knöpfe – oben links Wohnzimmer, oben rechts Schlafzimmer, unten rechts Flur, unten links Küche. Ein Druck, und das Licht im passenden Raum reagiert. Als hätte Philips den Grundriss von meinem Haus in die Form gegossen.In der Hue-App kann man das Ganze noch feiner personalisieren, und wer wie ich Home Assistant im Einsatz hat, dem eröffnet sich noch mal eine ganz neue Welt an Möglichkeiten. Da fängt Smart Home erst an, richtig Spaß zu machen.Fazit: Für mich eine klare Weiterentwicklung der Schalter-Serie. Praktisch, elegant und so flexibel, dass man sich fragt, warum man nicht schon früher auf dieses Konzept gesetzt hat.Denn wer sein Licht so liebt wie ich, der will es nicht nur schalten – der will es dirigieren.

La réactivité est excellente, aucune latence, et la construction inspire confiance.J’apprécie aussi le format compact qui s’intègre bien dans n’importe quelle pièce, avec ou sans support mural. Depuis que je l’utilise, je me sers beaucoup moins de l’app, tout est à portée de main.
