Used on Camper Roof
TL;DR: Great stuff I put on our camper roof to waterproof and seal. Seems to work at a great price. I came on Amazon looking for FlexSeal or the Rust Oleum LeakSeal and stumbled upon this stuff with incredibly high reviews. Pricing and Packaging: I got one gallon of white and the price is pretty good when put up head-to-head with the competition. Product showed up padded inside a box inside another Amazon box. Application: I used it on a 1994 19' Starcraft camper trailer that had never been completely sealed. We bought it last year and the previous owner had a small leak spring in the back years prior that he had sealed up. The roof had been heavily caulked around all the vents and seams, but the rest of the roof had never been touched. I applied two coats of the RubberSeal--the first with a paintbrush so I could get it on thick and the second 24 hours later with a 6" mini roller from Walmart. I applied mine inside the garage, but I would wait for a few days of sun before I put it on. I also didn't bother cleaning the roof, although mine was surprisingly clean already. Results: One coat of RubberSeal didn't do a great job of covering the roof. The second coat covered it well enough that it should be fine. This only used half of my gallon jug, so I will probably roll a third coat on just for giggles. The sealant got down into all the cracks and seams of the roof and along where the metal meets the vents and just sealed right over it all. It seems like it had a good bond--I can't scratch or chip it off with my nails. Cleanup: I just tossed my paintbrush and roller cover, but it says to use mineral spirits or baby oil, which I had neither of on hand. Gasoline and paint thinner were both a no-go. Didn't touch the stuff. If I don't update this review, assume that I am 100% satisfied with the product and recommend it to all RV'ers!

Should have went with this product yrs.ago!
Product as described ! Easy to apply ! Prep is the hardest thing and most important ! Almost immediately saw a difference in temperature inside 8-) Don't be afraid to use this product ; its worth the time and effort to apply. Plan to clean and plan to apply ! :-) Plan on drying time ....it's important ! Will see if life of product is as quoted. Oh Yeah ..NO MORE LEAKS! NOTE: 2yrs. product is still doing its job. Some say product yellows ! I haven't found that to be true ! As with anything it's not dirt proof...duh ! I just want to say it's still working fine. I intend to buy more and clean and apply ! Not having the stress and aggravation is worth the cost.....you won't be disappointed 8-) 11/2023 Must say this product is still going strong! I've tried anumber of other products....and still say this is the best ! You must clean well and plan your plan of attack....but for my money this is by far the best ! Getting old and hate products that don't work! This cost a little more but is worth every penny! Don't be lazy and don't be cheap .... do it right the first time and you will have less HEADACHES ! a product you can trust ๐ 2025 and still going.... With all the crazy things going on in the world ๐คโน๏ธ But still here...and it's time to clean (prep) roof for another coat ! THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE JOB !! but after a few coats , cleaning gets easier ๐ Learned years ago prep is always the most important part of any job. CLEAN and things will always turn out much better โ๏ธ๐

This stuff works great!
I haven't had it on what I used it on long enough to know how well it lasts. But I used it on a worn out tarp I have over my leaking aluminum shed. The sun had dried it out and it started leaking. I rolled this rubber seal over the tarp and it stopped it from leaking. 2 coats to be sure. I got another bucket of it for later. Cheap easy way to protect my shed. They all start leaking after few years. Mine was accelerated by some kid getting on top of it and well, you can guess the rest.

Application on a new Plywood roof on a cargo trailer. tra
I have used 2 gal. on cargo trailer roof. I used 3m 5200 along with screws to seal the 1/4 in. Plywood to the trailer frame work . I have used 2 gal. to cover aprox 105 Sq. Ft. I allowed it to flash off between coats. 7 coats using a short nap roller. Application was easy. I will update if any issues arise. It appears that this product will spot repair fairly easily if needed in the future. My only regret is not using marine grade Plywood as the glue is the same but I had issues with voids in the lamination of the "CD" grade Plywood. Note : I also used polyester resin with fibreglass tape to join the Plywood sheeting at the 4ft. seams making the joints at the roof ribbing. Looks good at this time. I only want to do this once! Definitely better than the garbage sheet metal that the manufacturer used.

Fabulous stuff for fixing cracked shower floor
Fabulous stuff! Used to repair a big crack in shower floor. Sanded it a bit; put the recommended fiber 'paper' on the cracked area; did three coats to give a good thick coat.....waited between coats a few days (have another shower to use) and then when put the final coat on, let it 'cure' to harden it up, as Dan from the company suggested. It looks great!! Will take a picture and post soon. The project was done by our helpful neighbor who had fixed fiberglass shower floor before. He started out doubtful it would work, but by the end of the project he became a 'convert'. Really great stuff. I am thinking of painting our other shower floor just to make it so clean and white again, even though it is not cracked. I am looking for things to rubberize around our place now.

Went On Nicely, We'll See If It Holds Up
I just put it on so I can't evaluate the efficacy of the product yet. I had to store it 5 months until it was warm enough to apply. There was no separation in the bucket when I opened it, which was a good sign. My '94 Tiger popup RV's roof is about 7'x12 and as never been fully sealed. The first coat went on what seemed a bit thin, but since I was applying it with a 4" brush right from the bucket, the liquid started to thicken up with exposure to the air. The next day I got a full second coat, the liquid now thicker but not paste-like. If you can, apply it in the shade because it sets up quickly---then move your rig into the sun to cure. I am VERY pleased I got 2 coats from the one gallon bucket. Time will tell if it holds up. I will update later in the year. If it does, this product is a great value.

Used on black EPDM roof, so far so good....updated
I originally wrote the below comment, last week I noticed splits in the rubber membrane where there was a seam, then a rainstorm today revealed more leaks through those splits. I am not sure if I have to buy another 5 gallon bucket to reinforce the seams. Original post: I bought two 5 gallon buckets and applied on a 500 ft2 add-on two coats. It went on smooth and it required no mixing. I stored in a warm room for 6 months. Seemed to seal the constant leaks from the 25 year old roof. This add-on does not have an air conditioner which pulls from the main furnace/air in the house and pretty consistent 20ยฐ warmer because of the black epdm rubber roof. The now white reflective roof has leveled the temperature in the room with the rest of the house, feeling 20ยฐ cooler. I'm only 1 month in and will monitor leaks and standing water. I am quite pleased.
