My original purchases the cord was about 2 meters. Now the power adapter and cord is only 5 feet. So the manufacturer is saving about $1 and now I have to buy a $3 extension somewhere. **Q: Can you mount from sofit** A: Yes, These come with brackets and can be mounted anywhere. Keep in mind, these cameras do require a power source and need to be plugged in. **Q: I bought zmodo all-in-one system before and one of cameras broken because of lightning. if i buy 1 from this camera will it work with current set?** A: Yes, this camera would work with the current set. **Q: Can you purchase replacement cords?** A: I have purchased replacement power cords for the cameras. I had a couple of the power cord units go bad and bought replacements based on the specs listed on the power block plug in unit.
