Works great with my FT-710
I purchased this Btech powersupply because it was very reasonable/low cost as compared to other manufacturers. Prices on powersupplies have gone up a lot, but Btech has the cost within the range I needed. In addition, Btech has a good reputation on radio and power supplies. I use this on my FT-710 and an external tuner. Have not had any issues at all. Delivers a solid 13.8 volts. Voltage can be adjustable, of preset to 13.8 volts (via a switch in the rear). Power to my FT-710 is clean and no noise or buzzing. I usually drive about 6 amps from this powersupply. Happy with this product. Does what it needs to do for a reasonable cost. Update: 1/17/26: Been doing a lot of FT8 work several hours each day. Pulling about 13 amps on each transmission. No issues at all. The top of the power supply (heat sink) does not even get warm. Really like this power supply.

A good reliable power supply to power HAM, GMRS, CB and LMR radios.
I bought the BTECH RPS-30Pro 30A power supply so that I can test various HAM, GPRS, CB and LMR radios. The picture below shows an Alinco DR-135 key down on medium power drawing around 8A. I needed to make a 1/4" ring terminal to Anderson Power Pole cable to power most radios that have APP connectors like the one shown in the photo. The 30A supply runs on 120VAC using a supplied grounded C-13 lab cord (the defacto standard). The 8A AC fuse appears to be internal to the supply. Operation is easy: connect the device under test, switch in back to 13.8v (instead of variable) and turn the power supply on. Then after verifying the power supply is producing 13.8v, turn the DUT on. Then after connecting the radio to a suitable load, key it up. The power supply runs cool during normal use. I would not stack anything on top of it. At this time, I have not tested the accuracy of the digital volt and amp display, nor have I tested the stability of the supply under load for longer operation. I don't have a programmable load simulator. I did not hear any change in the channel noise while listening to weak FM signals or open squelch. In comparison with a similar looking Alinco DM-330MVT or DM-530MVT, the power supply has a good price point. While the power supply does have over current protection, a variable current limit for testing unknown radios would have been welcomed. I would have preferred Anderson Power Pole connectors in front in place of the cigarette lighter outlet because radios are often wired with APP connectors instead of a cigarette lighter plug. I do like that the power supply comes with an easy to read English instruction manual. It's also good to know that there's US based customer support should it be needed. After a week of using this power supply on my bench, it meets most of my needs.

Good Power Supply for Radios
Fast shipping. Solid construction. This is the third version of this power supply I have ordered. The first was several years ago and still performs like new. I use them on my Icom IC 7300, a TYT 9800D+ and two other radios. The digital readouts are back lit and easy to read; both amps and voltage is displayed. I have not used the cigarette-lighter style port. I rarely have used the voltage regulator to change voltage. The noise regulator has never been needed so not sure what effect it would have. My PS have never gotten hot enough for fan to kick on. These power supplies seem to operate well within the specs stated by MFG.

Runs 100 Watt FT8 if I want it to on my Yaesu FTDX10
BTECH RPS-30PRO: A Reliable Power Supply for My Yaesu FTDX10 I've integrated the BTECH RPS-30PRO into my ham radio setup with my Yaesu FTDX10, and it's been an a nice addition. This power supply isn't just up to the task; it's an overachiever. I routinely operate FT8 at 33 watts, but when the DX chase heats up, I can push it to 100 watts without breaking a sweat or the supply. I've run FT8 at 70 watts for hours, and the RPS-30PRO has handled it like a true pro, maintaining stability through high-duty cycles without so much as a hiccup. For convenience, I've equipped both the front and rear with Anderson Powerpole connectors, making switching between different setups seamless. I'm also running power to my remote antenna tuner via coax with a bias T setup, and this power supply has shown no signs of struggle. The noise offset adjustment? Haven't touched it once. I also keep it at a constant 13.8 volts with perfect results. This isn't just a power supply; it's a reliable companion for any serious radio enthusiast. If I ever needed another one, the BTECH RPS-30PRO would be my go-to without hesitation. It's compact, efficient, and powerful, earning a solid five stars.

Best deal for a single receiver

Works great. Iโm happy.
Iโve only had it about a week but it works great. I have the two radios in the pics hooked up to it. It draws about 3.7 amps with both radio on receive only. if I key up one radio with 50w FM, it almost uses 15amps. I donโt plan on keying both radios at the same time but that would push it to its limit. It has large terminals on the back for easy hook up and little push terminal on front for low power items instead of using a wall wart.
