Snip, snip, I am the allotment envy........
These WORX cordless pruning shears have been fantastic on the allotment. Neighbours keep borrowing them, which says it all. They cut through stems cleanly and effortlessly, and it cuts whatever organic material i can wedge in it..... and I do try and wedge some very thick branches in it. It works perfectly with all my other WORX PowerShare batteries, though do note that this one doesn’t come with a battery or charger, so you’ll need one already or buy separately. A word of caution..... you really need to be conscious of keeping fingers clear. It can be tricky when you’re holding stems with one hand, which may be partially hidden by foliage and operating the shears with the other, because once you squeeze the trigger, it fully completes the cut instantly. A finger will be like butter with this tool.... That said, once you get used to it, it’s quick, satisfying, and a real time-saver compared with manual shears. It's perfect for my arthritic hands.... Overall, it’s a brilliant addition for anyone who spends time pruning or managing plants. Fast, effective, and makes allotment work a lot more enjoyable..... just mind your fingers!

So easy to use
OMG! This is so good, I have a garden with some severely over grown bushes roses, camellias, red robin and others. I bought this thinking it would take some of the effort out of bringing these plants back in to where they should be. It has been amazing no effort to use and the battery lasts for ages. It cuts through the branches with no effort at all. lol my only problem now is getting rid of the clippings

battery powered pruner, excellent purchase .
this pruner is excellent, easy to use saves a lot of time when cutting thick branches. Battery life seem to las for ever. Cuts the maximum size branches with ease. One worry i do have if you leave cutter with battery attached there is no safety lock on it because once trigger is pressed the blades have to complete the cut. Other than that this is one of my best purchases.

Very good, but pricey
I've found this brilliant - more capable than I expected and easier to use. Some people have complained about the safety procedure to wake it up being too intrusive, but quickly found what was needed to do and even after being put down for several minutes it only took a few seconds to get it back in operation. Maybe they've changed the programming recently. They say up to 1" branches but it was able to easily cut hazel of nearly 1¼" even at an angle, though the blades didn't quite reach all the way over, so a second snip of a couple of mm was needed to make a clean cut. I was able to do the entire job with just these, whereas before I've need secateurs and a power saw (the latter is not much fun when atop a ladder). In my book this is a 5* machine. So why only 4? Well, it's not cheap, especially if you need to get a battery and charger as well, and various other more budget power pruners may be fine for your needs - these are the only ones I've used. However, if you are like me and already using other Worx battery tools then it's probably worth considering. I didn't need it in a hurry so put it on my shopping list and watched the price. Eventually it came on offer at £82.99 instead of £99.99 at which point I ordered.

An absolute must for the garden ...
One of the best things I have purchased. I have a number of Worx items and so I have five batteries to use. This item is great for my arthritic joints in my hands. It will cut through most things that I have held it up to (as long as the jaws can get it in, it will chop it). There are two opening settings which I don't really see the point of but that's fine as I only use it on the wider faster setting. A great bit of kit for the garden.

Brilliant secateurs
These are amazing, they take all the effort out of pruning. I already have multiple batteries for other Worx devices so bought the secateur body only. I use them all the time and it makes cutting things up to fit in my garden bin so easy. I initially purchased as I was cutting down a number of fir trees and needed to make removing all the smaller branches from the garden easier. I wouldn't be without them now, there's no strain on your hand like there is with manual ones, especially if you have a lot of pruning to do.

Powerful. Works with DeWalt battery adaptor. See Feedback for link.
If I can say something is good I do. This device has just cut beautifully. Durability will take time to prove but I have confidence based upon the sound of the loads on the gearing when the blades are under load. The ratios must be very well calculated as it appears to rate speed of cut over power. Meaning it doesn't appear to cut slower because the branch is thicker. It's going through and that's that! Gearing materials will determine durability I think. I've just pruned an old 2 metre diameter Gooseberry bush in 2 minutes. Branches up to 20mm diameter. Slices through with ease. Battery live to be proven. But I have 4 so it'll be fine. Be aware that it will NOT differentiate between branches or body parts. Ie fingers! Take Care. It's very powerful. In addition, I run my battery tools with DeWalt. I didn't want to have to buy another battery design so I asked Chat GPT for an adaptor, and it put one up for me. It's perfect. The adaptor fits between the Worx cutter and my DeWalt Batteries. Link follows. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CYLX4YQ9?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
