Boy Craft Catapult Wars: A Jolly Good Show!
Oh, what fun! Boy Craft Catapult Wars is an absolute blast, a proper bit of kit for the young and the young at heart. As a crafty project and a game all rolled into one, it's as brilliant as a cuppa on a rainy day. This kit allows you to build your own catapults and then, by jove, use them to lob little projectiles at your opponent’s targets. The construction is straightforward, making you feel like a modern-day Isambard Kingdom Brunel, if he were into medieval siege weapons rather than bridges and railways. The materials are sturdy enough to survive a few battles, and the instructions are as clear as a bell. You'll have your catapults ready quicker than you can say "Bob's your uncle!" The game itself is a hoot, perfect for a bit of friendly competition. It's like playing cricket in the living room, but with less risk of breaking Granny's favourite vase. In conclusion, Boy Craft Catapult Wars is top-notch entertainment. It's educational, it's engaging, and most importantly, it's good, clean fun. A solid 5 stars – would catapult again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cheerio! Now, where did I put my helmet...? 🎩🛡️

Great kit, great fun!
The kits are easy to put together, but as other reviewers have stated, you better have your own supply of wood glue. What is provided isn't nearly enough. We were prepared, though. And even with that little issue, this still deserves a 5-star rating. The design is sturdy (except the base is a bit weak/tippy... But just weigh it down with your feet, as your shoot... And you're fine). This all sounds bad, but the fun and hilarity that ensue with the catapult fights with the bean bags is well worth the challenges! The range, the aim, the action are excellent!

DIY Project
I didn't see it was a DIY project when I bought it...my bad. The reason I deducted one point was because there was not enough wood glue to make the entire project. Had to use my own. However, it is so fun to use! The catapults shoot really far with their little pouches and the stickers add character. This was a great product in terms of science exploration, mechanical skills, and youthful fun!

Great toy
Neat little toy once you put it together I play with my kids and we try to shoot each other in the head with the bean bags It was not hard to put together and I used gorilla glue to make sure it would stick together better. By the way It's way more fun than trying to hit each other than the cardboard people that comes with it lol

BoyCraft is a stupid name...
I think this is a fun project - my GIRLS were perfectly capable of building it and using it. I took one star off for the sexist name and one star off for the glue instructions (just tell people to use hot glue - waiting over night is not reasonable for a kids' project). I didn't really want to support a company without an understanding of gender equality, but also didn't want my girls to think they couldn't do it, so we just made a point of making fun of the dumb name. The catapults themselves are holding up well, I like that it comes with bean bags and targets, and I like that there are 2 of them. The price is good too. Just pick a gender-neutral name, and I would say it would be a great gift idea for any KID.

Fun toy good learning experiences.
First thing to point out is that it does not come with very good glue and you have a couple options. You could use hot glue to build it and use it right away. Or you could use wood glue. And Elmer's white school glue is very similar to wood glue and would work as well. I chose to use wood glue. The skills they're going to learn gluing these things together are not incredibly impressive. To me what's impressive is having them be excited about a toy that they have to glue together and then wait 24 hours to use. That's a lesson in patience that is almost non-existent with today's toys. I purchased a used kit because I understood people would receive this item and then realize they had to wait to enjoy it. These people that returned it are doing their children a disservice. Teach them these kinds of lessons. After my two nephews finished gluing these together one of them mentioned these things are handmade. He said it with pride and a sense of accomplishment.

Cute set, good quality for the price!
Super cute kit. We have bought a number of wood kits with varying quality. This one really exceeded expectations for the price. Came with everything needed to build two catapults and 8 mini beanbags to launch. Includes just about exactly enough glue to assemble everything if you don’t let your kids get overzealous with glue application! 6 year old built this almost on his own and 4 year old helped an adult build it, but both kids could play with these on their own and also had fun putting all the stickers on to decorate their catapults. Be warned - these launch beanbags a lot farther than I would have guessed!

Wood glue assembly requires overnight to dry
This is completely glued together, glue included) and the instructions say to let it dry overnight. My grandson (8 yr old) and I built it with our own wood glue and also drilled holes and added wood screws so we didn't have to wait. Works great! Saving the 2nd one for another grandkid on another day.
