Sleek and Chic!
This mouse is great, the best Bluetooth mouse ever! Well to be fair, I never had another Bluetooth mouse. However, I did a lot of research before purchasing this product because I was debating between a USB wireless mouse and a Bluetooth mouse. Since I have a laptop with Bluetooth capability (Sony VGN-CR290), why not go for the one that has less to worry about and also not having to take up a USB link. I was worried since the reviews I read of other name brand Bluetooth mice had connection problems. Well this one doesn't! I installed the software, turned on the mouse and viola; it instantly worked, with great precision too. It hasn't dropped once, even through objects (under blanket). I should also mention I like the feature of the scrolling wheel. You can select different task instead of side scrolling (I like the option of forward/back instead). Overall, I definitely recommend this mouse, it's small but not uncomfortably small, well designed, has great precision, and connectivity too! A definite great buy.

Simply excellent
I researched this option a lot before I bought it for my wife's Mac, it was a no brainer for me to buy a second one for myself when I bought my own laptop. The fact one can connect to the mac without having to plug in a USB dongle is just really nice (never understood why we always need those USB plug in dongles when a laptop has bluetooth installed). The mouse is big enough to use comfortably as a standard docked set up (it's how I use it) and it's small enough to be transported easily if you like to take a mouse with you (the way my wife uses it) . . . it even comes with a nice little bag to carry it in. Connectivity is excellent (absolutely no problems with it). It's easily configured and you can press on the scroll wheel for another button (which I use for exposรฉ). I found I needed to run the Logitech software first to install it. The software is found in system preferences in the "Other" section after install (not in the mouse and keyboard section). This is a fabulous mouse. Buy it. It looks really nice, it works flawlessly . . . it's definitely worthy of a Mac. JAS

Simply Works
(Update after 3 months of use: The mouse has performed amazingly. It is a joy to use and travels well with my MacBook. I bought this in November and have used it every day. Now (February), I finally get the low battery indicator. The batteries lasted a very long time (and I do not shut the mouse down often. If you have a MacBook, this mouse is a great addition to it. You won't be sorry.) * * * I just got my white MacBook today and connected the Logitech V470 to it. After a few minutes of mousing around, the computer for some reason lost the connection. I suspect it was my fault as I was messing with the preferences trying to learn Apple Mac OS X Version 10.5 Leopard 's features. I re-attached it and since then it has not given me any problems. The computer sleeps and wakes up and the mouse just works almost instantly. It is smooth and works well. The mouse design fits the white MacBook perfectly. I have large hands and even though this mouse is smaller than a standard mouse, the fit is comfortable. It is amazing not to have cords or dongles cluttering your desktop. I highly recommend it. Given the horrible reviews of the Logitech software, I never installed the CD that came with it. It works very well without it. Option-scroll wheel zooms on the whole screen, the tilt wheel scrolls horizontally -- It simply works.

Love this mouse!!
This is a great mouse. I have no complaints. I bought this first and foremost because of the functionality of Bluetooth. I wanted a wireless mouse, but I didn't want to worry about losing a plug-in receiver that comes with other wireless mouses. I've never had any connectivity issues. Installation was a breeze. It took a few minutes at most. The tracking and action of the mouse is very smooth. Response is quick and consistent with no jumping around. The scroll wheel can be programmed for several different functions. In addition, the scroll wheel also has side clicking capability to scroll side-to-side on pages, and it has the 'third button' that functions by clicking the scroll wheel straight down. I've been using it for about a month and a half now, and the batteries are still running strong. The mouse goes to sleep fairly quickly when it's idle, which preserves battery life. Upon movement, it only takes half a second or so to wake back up. I'm very happy with this mouse. No complaints.

Good basic mouse to match your MacBook
Setting up took about 30 seconds. The wheel has a nice smooth scroll to it, very quiet. It also can scroll left and right, all completely with no drivers needed to install on OS X. Matches wonderfully to a MacBook, however the photo is misleading. The bottom half of the mouse is actually silver, only the top half is glossy white. Battery life is excellent. With not shutting it off ever, and using it several hours a day, you can get easily 4-6 months out of them. Minor lag time when the mouse is inactive for long periods of time, it goes into a sleep mode. Takes a quick second to wake up. Does not bother me at all. Also comes with a pouch for traveling.

I expected it to last longer.
I bought this unit about 3 years ago. It worked well while it lasted, but it died recently. I tried to connect a couple of different devices. Nothing would connect to it. It wouldn't identify on Bluetooth.

Overall good mouse, but a bit buggy with Mac OS
The Good: Wireless bluetooth connectivity A second mouse button and scroll wheel (unlike my old Apple mouse, which drove my fiancee crazy) Great price, approximately $30 less than the wireless Apple Mighty Mouse The Bad: After restarting the computer, sometimes it takes a while for the bluetooth to reconnect with the mouse, sometimes it cannot find the mouse altogether. This can get irritating... I'm not sure why it does this, but it wakes my iMac from sleep mode. I didn't have this problem when I had my old Apple wireless bluetooth mouse (one button), so I think there's some sort of compatibility issue. Overall: It's a good mouse, the above stated issues notwithstanding. It does everything I want it to do, but it also does some things I don't want it to do. 3 stars.

Should Have Purchased This a Lot Sooner
What a sweet little mouse. I really like it. I especially like having it connect wirelessly through bluetooth - a technology I wasn't using enough. I use a bluetooth headset for my cellphone, but that's it. I also liked freeing up a USB port. It's small and fits my hand really well. It is contoured and has distinct "wells" for your left and right button fingers to rest in. The Apple mouse, being completely smooth, was not a comfortable fit for me. The top is white and the sides are silver-colored. It matches my new iMac and keyboard better than the all-white Mighty Mouse. This is the type of mouse that should come with Apple computers. I installed the software, rebooted the iMac and turned the mouse on. It recognized it right away and I was off and running. It is VERY sensitive - I was obviously using the settings from the Apple Mighty Mouse and they had been turned up quite high. This little mouse was zipping around like crazy, so I had to turn the settings back down to half-way for tracking. I didn't realize that the wired Mighty Mouse was so sluggish. I've always preferred "notebook" sized mice, even for working on a desktop computer. They just fit better. I would definitely buy this product again. It was a great price for a great product. Trust Logitech.
