Works okay, but not as good as kydex. Temperature is more critical.

This thin material is flexible & malleable when heated but strong when cool. I used this material to create ductwork for a modified generator. I could easily cut the material with a cutoff tool or metal snips or score with a utility knife and snap apart. I could use my heat gun and bend or mold it into shape. You can really form it once you heat it up just enough. NOTE: USE heavy GLOVES since this material gets and stays hot. You will have to hold it in the form you want until it cools off enough to remain in that shape. I could attach the pieces together with sheet metal screws. Acetone could be used to melt and bond pieces together allowing you to increase the thickness and make it sturdier. I had no problem working with this material and would purchase it again.
