They are made to be stuck to the car, usually on the rear and come with sticky tape pre-installed. I wanted to be able to remove mine without dealing with removing adhesive, so I purchased these and stuck the badges to them and then cut the bumper stick around them so that it doesn't show. This worked perfectly for both my wifes and my car. We have driven though multiple car washes with brushes and high powered pressure washing and they simply stay on. They haven't even moved since place on the car. The magnet is pretty strong and it was a perfect solution. If i need to remove them now, I can just pull them off!

For those that aren't aware, Subaru has badges you can get from them for free that basically show how many subaru's you've had and what kind of interests you have as well. They are made to be stuck to the car, usually on the rear and come with sticky tape pre-installed. I wanted to be able to remove mine without dealing with removing adhesive, so I purchased these and stuck the badges to them and then cut the bumper stick around them so that it doesn't show. This worked perfectly for both my wifes and my car. We have driven though multiple car washes with brushes and high powered pressure washing and they simply stay on. They haven't even moved since place on the car. The magnet is pretty strong and it was a perfect solution. If i need to remove them now, I can just pull them off!

Looks and works great. Please be wary of bad reviews on this. I believe people are trying to put this magnet on aluminum or plastic parts of their vehicle and then giving the item a bad review. This will only magnetize to steel. Please be sure to double check this before ordering and leaving a bad review.
