I guess they don't want to support basic replacement parts on a product that's expected to last 10 years, per the industry standard. Awesome, right? Realizing that's completly unacceptable from a consumer perspective, after spending months trying to source a used replacement, then researching 3D plans for replacement parts from the internet (at least one exists, but you need to add correct connectors into it), I finally broke down and bought this kit because Molex plastic connectors happen to be the correct dimensions to fit, and it came with the necessary ready-to-crimp connectors. Well, I'm here to say, after 3-4 months of use, and proper termination using the correct crimpers on correct-gauge wiring, my NEST PROTECT has been running perfectly. I did need to trim the plastic clip off the side of the translucent plastic, but otherwise it was a perfect fit. Pics attached, or it didn't happen, right? If you're a disenfranchised Google product owner as I am, I can tell you after 3 support calls, they don't care. Buy this kit, and take the power back. Quite literally.
