This light casts a good amount of light, white , red, blue or green.
I put 2 of these on a Bimini top on a boat. I use it to provide area lighting. The included strap is great for attaching to the exposed bars of the Bimini. The lights seem well sealed, and I have had no issues with them. I like that it remembers what the color was when they were last on, even when power is removed. It even gives me a small glow to let me know where it is so I can find them easily in the dark when I want to turn them on. I like that I can select from several colors. The red work well at night since it does not interfere with vision. If I have a party the lights can go dance mode.

Cool nice little accessory lights!
Installed 2 sets of these lights in my van for extra lighting. Nice, robust little lights!! Can be mounted flat or on a bar with included hardware. Nice!

Mounting hardware doesn't work...strap would if you want it mounted that Way.
The light works great...the screws they send with it don't fit the tapped light and the little nuts that go on the screws don't fit...redicilous...so when you go to install it be ready to go to the hardware store....yeah China...made in china

Things to know.
Light works fine. Led is bright. The problem is there is a back light inside the led that stays on all the time. If you plan on hooking it up to a battery this might be an issue if it's parked for awhile. For those finding a hot while its running should have no issues.
