This 200cc fluid extractor system worked great for me. I used it mainly for injection rather than extraction, but it works both ways. I used it for putting differential oil into an AWD diff after first having drawn it in from the bottle. This too, and hose made it easily to get the fluid (75-90 gear oil) into that fill point with no mess. It came with an alternate grey pair of plunger seals, which I forget know what they’re for. Maybe a different type of fluid. I’ve had no problems with it and sealing works well.

Works well, but has a tendency to stick. Nice for removing that little extra fluid when you over fill.

Really good pump for pulling differential fluid out of a 2010 bmw 335i. It stays in place when pulling and creates quite the suction power. Lots of different hoses and can maintain a vacuum as long as you can pull it. It can be hard to pull at first but very easy as you continue to keep pulling the suction vacuum. It also makes filling the differential easy. Great pump for the price. Great quality. It even comes with extra seals just in case.

I bought this to replace my differential fluid because my vehicle doesn’t have a drain plug. It does take some effort to pull the fluid out because it’s thick. The tube came with the kit is long enough to reach the bottom of the case. To me it’s a great deal compared to asking dealership to do it for 4x the price

The Thorstone 500cc extractor is solidly built and feels like a quality tool in the hand. Unfortunately, it didn’t perform well on my equipment. It removed very little oil from my snowblower and almost nothing from my lawnmower, even after multiple attempts. Because it’s considered contaminated after use, I can’t return it. I’m giving it 3.5 stars only because the construction is good and it may work better on other small engines, but for my setup it didn’t pull enough oil to be useful.

I used this to change the fluid in my truck transmission. It works great but the trans fluid caused the Orings in the extractor to swell some which makes it a little hard to pull and push but it does come with an extra set of Orings

I was originally looking at a 12 volt pump when this one showed on my screen. Electric pumps have moving parts and may fail more. Also, electricity and some fluids don’t play nice in the sandbox. I received my pump/transfer unit yesterday. Upon first inspection I could see it is made very well. The tubes to suck up the fluid are a good length and very flexible. You get two tubes to extend the length. The pump Handel is well made and I think it will stand up to frequent use. Extra seals are included. All in all a very well made product at a reasonable price.

Worked well pumping trans fluid back into the transmission. Should be noted that the flexible clear hose will blow straight out of the syringe and need to use the harder plastic hose instead.
