Front Windshield Washer Pump

This works as it should and it comes at a reasonable cost. Keep in mind if you replace it yourself there is over twenty screws you will need to remove to install. It was not difficult to replace just make sure you have the correct tools.

The actual job took no more than two minutes. Removing the wheel and wheel well cover took around an hour. This motor works as expected. Rubber grommet fits nice and snug. Zero leaks. Worth the money.

Front Windshield Washer Pump w/Grommet Replacement,..., Replaces OEM 22999423, 84518407 . [Note: pump was used on a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, V6.] . The plastic hose tube fitting is rotated 90 deg. It does not fit like OEM. Never saw one with this defect/option, but I was able to make it work although the fit was a little tight. . Initially I thought this washer pump did not squirt far enough with low output. The water only came out as as a stream about 25% up the windshield. But that was after the vehicle sat for a couple of days with a lower battery voltage. I then tested it while driving when the alternator increased the voltage to about 13.8 volts. That did the trick. It now sprays up the windshield around 2/3 up with a good spray and not a stream. . The washer pump functions normally while driving! . Cheap alternative to OEM. I give this washer pump a 4, but will increase to a 5 if the pump has reasonable longevity. Car part stores: $37, this unit: $10.

This item does not work for front and back. The electrical connection is different for front and back yet the description provided by the seller says it works for both. It does not. I’m so ticked off right now because I have to put my vehicle back together, which includes battery plate and battery and order one from a different seller that knows what the hell they are selling. How hard is this?

Fit right in

UPDATE: THE MOTOR HUMS BUT DOESNT SPRAY. Working so far. The grommet is hard to install. I recommend re-using the old one if possible. If you need to use the new one use liquid soap to lube it. Place it over the hole and use two long rods or screwdrivers, etc to hold one side down and the other to press the center in.

Replaced my dead washer pump for a 2002 grand am with this one. Price was right! Good fit and it started pumping right away and on command!
