MENSI 24" Propane BBQ Grill, Firepit, Fireplace Heater Universal Gas Thermocoupler Sensor M8x1 Thread

This replacement part worked great for my outdoor fireplace. Worked liked new.

Fit fine for my annual replacement of my Blue Rino Endless Summer Deck heater Model 233010 natural gas (with no anti tip switch). Maybe this one will last longer than others? Time will tell. Wish the deck heater was designed to replace it easier as seem to end up doing it every year or two. But getting good at it and seems to keep the deck heater running well for another year.

It is frustrating when your firepit does not stay lit, this part will fix you up right. It is a required, and very smart, safety element. This heats up and then keeps the fire running. Ours when bad slowly, which gave us plenty of time to order this from Amazon. Installed it this past weekend, and so glad that I did. Install is very easy - just watch a youtube video.

Fits a bond canyon ridge fire pit but didn’t fix the problem of not staying lit. I ended up bypassing the thermocouple. Made a video on YouTube.

I have a Bond, Canyon Ridge fire pit that I bought from Lowes. The unit has always been finicky about lighting and staying lit. I recommended their product to friends who ultimately purchased one of these fire pits and theirs worked flawlessly. After contacting the factory about my unit, they recommended changing the thermocouple and this part as a drop-in replacement. They were out-of-stock and wanted to get me up and running quickly. This part worked great. It was easy to install and now my fire pit is working better than ever. Incidentally, after removing the old thermocouple from my fire pit I discovered why it was so finicky. Apparently they used some sort of power tool at the factory to install the original thermocouple. The capillary tube was literally twisted into a knot where it connected to the bulb.

A rat had chewed the flame actuator in the Camp Chef Outdoor Oven we use in our duck blind. I needed to replace it and this one has worked beautifully. Simple installation and works as it should.

Not universal since it didn’t fit our fire pit gas opening.

You can find thermocouplers for boilers and hot water heaters at any big box hardware store. This one is shorter in length than the ones I found though, and was exactly what I needed to repair my fire table. It's a no-name brand from another big box store, so not something I could easily get from the manufacturer. This one did the job though, and it literally fired right up after a 15 min job replacing it.

It was cheap in comparison to having to buy another fire pit and I tried three popular hardware stores and none of them carried this ...it fit great and worked perfect biggest issue was removing the old one as it was rusted and very difficult to remove
