Works Surprisingly Well!
I had previously bought another fabric shaver by Conair that was more expensive and was disappointed with the results. Still hoping to find something that worked, I decided to purchase this one. Since it was so cheap, I figured I wouldn't be out much money if it turned out to be another disappointment. Luckily, there was no need to worry! Very simple to operate and works like a charm! I have several dressier shirts that I love that were starting to pill up because of how often I'd worn them. I'd thought about getting rid of them but kept putting it off because I liked them so much. This got rid of the pills quickly and easily! Just one pass over the fabric, and my shirt seriously started to look like new again. Pills were gone and no damage to the thin, delicate fabric. One thing I WOULD advise is to only leave the shaver on for 30 seconds or so, then turn it off while you rearrange the fabric to start on a new area. The shaver is small, and I feel like it might overheat if left on for too long. I wouldn't recommend fixing all your pilled clothing at once, although you will definitely be tempted to after you see the difference it makes! (To be clear, my shaver didn't overheat at all, and I had no problems with it. However, it did start to get a little warm after extended use, and I felt overheating COULD have been a problem, so I just decided not to risk it.) One of the best purchases I've made and at an amazing price!

Really good device for the money
Nice and handy little size for use and storage. Works flawlessly on regular fabrics like cotton/ polyester. I mostly bought it for some of my wooly sweaters that started to look old because of the piling. Used it on the right half of the sweater pictured, left half is without and it works relatively well. This is a very tough fabric as there are a lot of fuzzy fibers that did get stuck in the blades every so often and it didn't get all the piling but it definitely looks better after. I just got this so I can't speak to the longevity but so far its very handy!

Very happy with this useful little gadget!
This little gadget lived up to the reviews, and overall, I am extremely happy with the purchase. It did a great job on removing the fabric pills from the arms of one of our upholstered living room chairs and its matching ottoman making them go from a little shabby looking to almost new. I gave it four stars for two reasons: 1. figuring out how to open the little compartment to empty the waste took a bit , but once we did, it was a no brainer and 2. we noticed it started to "slow down" even if the waste compartment was empty. At first, we thought it was the batteries and changed them. The fabric shaver still felt like it was "slower" and not as effective. I decided to unscrew the perforated round guard cover that fits over the blade (make sure the shaver is in the "off" position when you do this), and noticed that there was some fuzz that built up around the blade disc, keeping it from spinning freely. It was easy to remove the fuzz and replace the cover and it was back to "full power". Again, now that we know that, it is a no brainer and the fabric shaver is a great little gadget. For the price, it exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend this one over the more expensive options.

Surprisingly useful
I wasn't sure what to expect because this unit is so inexpensive, but it works great! It has turned out to be very sturdy and does a wonderful job. The central hole in the screen will sometimes grab a pill and wind it into a cord instead of cutting it off, so it is useful to have a small pair of scissors to cut this cord, and some good tweezers to pull all of the cord out of that central hole. If you don't, it will keep grabbing and spinning those little cords. They will pull a hole in your sweater if you let them wind up too long. That is the only negative that I have run into, and I've used this on several garments. Do be sure to press very lightly against the surface that you are de-pilling, as it is possible, especially with lightweight fabrics, for you to snag a small hole in your garment, but it doesn't take very much pressure to get the job done. A very light stroke, sometimes with multiple passes, is all it takes. I am very pleased with this product, and would gladly recommend it.

I've had one of these for years. They work great to remove the little balls on your clothes. I just bought another as a gift. This is great to keep your hoodies, polar fleece and sweaters looking like new. Glide it over the surface to cut off the balls, just do not be overzealous and push down on your clothes or it will make a hole. It is easy to clean. Twist off the cap and discard the fuzz.

Excellent little depiller! It is very effective and the blades seem of high quality! Recommended!

As an electric fabric shaver, it holds in your hand well enough, although it is a bit of an awkward grip and sometimes it is hard to remove the cartridge containing the lint and the battery lid cover. However, after less than 10 uses, it became unusable and would not turn on, no matter what batteries we put in it. Your money might be better spent on a higher-quality fabric shaver that will last longer.

When it worked, it worked great, it took the lints off our couch, but.... it stopped working after 5 minutes. Getting a refund so I'll be buying something better.
