Good weatherproof box, good for projects, opaque half is easy to drill into. Note it has 'ears' on both sides (main product photo looks like it's only on one side).

This will be my fourth time perching this enclosure my first one has been mounted outside with a raspberry pi 3b running pi aware for over a year now and still not had any problems whatsoever with water proofing issues very sturdy construction Recommend 🙂

A quality product. I use these for electronics projects and it is perfect for seeing circuit boards and mounting variable knobs on the grey sides. Very useful strong enclosure box.

Good value for money

As shown in the photograph. Used this project box for building my impedance matching autotransformer. Transparent lid lets me know which tap on the autotransformer is connected for various impedances. Plastic was easy to drill through, and accurately, with the right drill bits.

As described, this seems like a good quality product. However, it is difficult to mount items without puncturing the box and losing the IP rating. I resolved this by having some plastic plates cut to size so I could mount items on the plate and then fix the plate to the box. There are very small anchor points in each corner that you can get a very small screws in to. It would be nice to have more substantial mounting points.

Why did you choose this product over others?: good value Size: the right size

Excellent box and nice to have the clear from panel so you can see anything inside if you wanted too. I used it for a CNC upgrade, installed the BOB board inside and I can see the lights when the end stops are triggered. Mounted the fans on the front of the panel making it really easy to build what I needed. The mounting screws holes are totally separate from the lid screws so makes it really easy to mount.

I tested it for a week. It kept electronics safe but I could see that the lid wasn't tight in the middle of the long side of the box. Screws got rusty as well.

Una bella scatola , fatta bene e con tanto spazio , difatti l'ho presa troppo grossa e la userò per un'altro progetto , non l'ho ancora usata completamente ma ho solamente predisposto la piastra all'interno e devo dire che è molto precisa , per gli hobbisti è valida , non so come si comporta all'esterno perché appunto non l'ho ancora utilizzata ma all'analisi visiva sembra molto valida.
