Review: DImotliyor Overhead Camera Mount
As someone who owns more mounts than a medieval knight owns swords, I can confidently say the DImotliyor Overhead Camera Mount earns its place in the armory. Most mounts promise flexibility, but this one actually delivers—especially when it comes to overhead shots. Whether you're filming a top-down cooking tutorial, sketching, unboxing, or just showing off your desk setup like it's a museum exhibit, this mount makes it easy. Setup was refreshingly straightforward. No need to summon an engineering degree or sacrifice a weekend. It clamps securely, adjusts smoothly, and holds steady—like a loyal tripod should. I’ve used it with a DSLR, a webcam, and even my phone (which is basically a camera with a texting feature at this point), and it handled all three without complaint. Is it perfect? No. But neither am I, and we’re both doing great. For anyone who needs a reliable overhead mount that doesn’t require a second mortgage or a spiritual awakening to use, this one’s a solid pick. Recommended. Especially if you’re tired of mounts that act like they’re allergic to stability.

Durable and Professional Looking Camera Mount Adjustable Arm Stand
This adjustable arm mount works nearly perfectly for my DSLR camera. You have some flexibility because you can choose how many sections of it to install. Also, the rotating ball head makes it adjustable even more so you can fine-tune the placement of the camera and the angle, etc. I use my DSLR as a webcam so I needed to position it precisely above my monitor, and it's working well for that! The only thing I've noticed is that the camera sagged a little when I came back to it after a few days, so I had to make a small adjustment. This isn't a huge issue but you may need to tighten the knobs harder (not too hard) to get it to stay for longer. Overall, this product looks good/professional and functions as expected, so I give it a 5 star rating!

Struggles a bit with heavier cameras, but usable
Likes: -easy installation -joints are very solid once locked in -can be built in sections -includes phone and ball mount -rotatable base -very lightweight Dislikes -very wobbly under weight -included ball mount is cheap/weak -joints do not allow full articulation (somewhat mitigated by rotation and ball mount) Overall, for the price, it's a great mount. Most of the issues aren't going to be a problem for the majority of users. For a phone, or light camera, this mount is unbeatable. I tested the mount using a frontheavy Canon 90D dslr camera with a Sigma 18-35mm lens. As pictured, the whole setup weighs about 3.5lbs. While it does an admiral job of holding up my camera, it does appear quite wobbly, with slight desk movement. I have a very hard time believing it would be stable at 6 lbs as stated in the advertisement. The ball mount exacerbates the issue, barely able to hold my camera up at maximum torque, even at a relatively shallow angle. I seriously doubt the ball mount would work at a 90° angle for perpendicular shots. Luckily, you do NOT need to use the ball end to mount a camera to this stand. All 3 sections attach using a standard 1/4-20 UNC tripod connection, meaning you can disassemble and attach your camera to each section as you wish. With that said, it does appear to hold, even with the disappointing ball mount. The joints appear to have large, grippy internal teeth to ensure the mount does not lose integrity over time, although the initial sag from adding weight to the end is very apparent and must be compensated for during adjustments, which is a minor hassle, and cheapens the overall feel of the device. While there are some engineering problems that could be addressed, I am not unhappy with my purchase. If you already have a ball mount, or ideally an old, light tripod head, I recommend using it with this stand. If your device is 4lbs or less, I don't fosee any issues, however, above 5lbs I would be prepared for disappointment.

Love this! Great quality.
This is terrific! Heavy duty metal, the knobs are plastic but for my home business level of use, it's perfect! The table clamp is fantastic- wide, sturdy, once cranked it the arm won't shake or move at all. And it has a large space for a variety of tabletop thicknesses. The arm segment adjustability and webcam mount on a ball joint is perfect, I can do mid height or higher to see the entire table, and with bending the arm at a right angle I have a roomy workspace without bumping into it. My webcam autofocus FINALLY works, my old table arm was flexible and kept jiggling and was always at an angle, the autofocus couldn't handle it. I love this so much I think I will buy another one!

Exceeded expectations.
As someone who has bought a lot of various types of desk arms, this one stands out. It's really solid, especially for the price point. The red knob allows you to spin the connection screw, so you don't have to rotate your camera / teleprompter, etc around, which is always a giant PITA. It's locking mechanism is mechanical notches, so once it's locked, it won't slip at all, in comparison to other arms, that are just squeezing a ball, relying on friction, and will slip. Well thought out design and great for the price point.

Sturdy, Well Made, Very Stable
Super sturdy. Very nice!!! I teach Zoom art classes and this is so sturdy it can be mounted on my art table and the camera doesn't shake, even if I bump the table.

Nice budget camera mount
Really nice just to use as a spot light, but also offers a great vantage point for recording videos. Easy to install and easy to adjust.

Extremely useful for shotgun microphones!
I am using this to attach to a shotgun microphone to varipole so I can record videos without having to use a lapel mic attached to my shirt. When I saw this product, I thought it would be a godsend for this purpose. I just picked up a second one to extend its reach. The only issue I have with this is that the clamp is a rubber material rather than a metal square like on similar products. Because of this, the grip on metal is not as tight as I'd like it to be, but since a shotgun mic doesn't weight that much, it isn't much of a problem. I DO wish, as a product suggestion, that they have a second kind of clamp/screw included so those who want what I am looking for can have it! All in all, I will get a lot of use out of this product. I would NOT use this for a camera. Maybe one of the lighter webcams, 360 cameras or possible a smaller phone would work well on this.
