Question 1

How far do these really extend? Please give specifics. Some say 3/4, others say 1/2, and another said 2/3.

Accepted Answer

I have the 2-tier under sink trays, 11.5" W, 18" D -- it slides out 11.5", leaving 7.5" still recessed, making it 2/3 pullout which is not as accessible as "full" pullout. Many kitchen cabinet slider trays (for 18" or 24" deep cabinets) have "full" extension slides, though. I have a Rev-A-shelf (24" D cabinet) pot/pan organizer 2-tiers and it is "full extension".For full pull-out, consider the Rev-A-Shelf series:https://smile.amazon.com/Rev-Shelf-5WB1-2122-CR-Cabinet-Pull-Out/dp/B000KQ2O6C/ref=sr_1_4?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1480532145&sr=1-4&keywords=rev%2Ba%2Bshelf&th=1

Question 2

My bottom shelves have a 1/2" lip where the face of the cabinet meets the shelf. The shelf is actually recessed down 1/2" Will these work for me?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately the bottom rails when extended are approximately 1/8" above the base. I had a similar problem since my cabinets had a 1/4" lip. I solved it by cutting two each 1/4" X 2" strips of Poplar bought from my local Do It Yourself store. For you I would use 1/2" X 2" - easy fix and by the way - you will really like using the roll out drawers.

Question 3

The description says that i need "18 inches" for the 17 but i don't have that. can someone tell me the outside dimensions of the drawer? do i need 18?

Accepted Answer

I just got off the phone with Lynk customer service. The basket is 17" wide butthey tell you 18" just in case there are door hinges that protrude into the opening. Measure across the opening and include any door hinges that stick out from the sides of the opening. If the opening is less than 17 1/2 inches you should have plenty of room.

Question 4

has anyone installed on the upper shelf of a lower cabinet? I installed them on the "floor" of the cabinet, want them on shelf above too!

Accepted Answer

Yes we did. We have cabinets under the kitchen counter. We installed the roll out on both the upper and lower shelves in these cabinets.I am very happy to have them. I have a terrible back problem and should not be bending down more than is absolutely necessary. So with the roll put drawer on the lower shelf I can now use either foot or a longish implement to pull out the roll put drawer and thus get items out fat more easilyHope this info helps
