This is the 1st TV show ever that deserves to win Oscars. Seriously; it's that good. Buy it now. You don't need to have seen, or have even liked, the movies...this show is over-the-top, gory, totally bizarre, and funny AF!! As for the DVDs -- the picture is great, each episode has commentary which is a LOT of fun. Pretty much the whole cast is there for each one. I wish there were more extras about the making of, and I'm not sure yet b/c I'm only half-way through, but I don't think the bonus stuff Starz used to show at the end of each ep. is on here. Still, it's a good package w/fun extras.

I made a mistake: when I tried these blurays on my player, they didn't work, but other blurays did, so I thought the problem was with the discs. But as more discs didn't work, I decided to buy a new player-- and the discs worked with that. So as far as I know, the discs you sent me work just fine.

Watch The original "The Evil Dead", "The Evil Dead 2" then the "Army of Darkness" movies before you watch "Ash vs. Evil Dead" and "Ash vs. Evil Dead- 2"! [The re-make of "The Evil Dead" has nothing to do with this.] I didn't believe that any epic could ever compare to "LOTR", let alone topple it, until the second season was added to the movies and the first season. You will never get the seriousness or the F/X of "LOTR", but you get so much more . The stories and humor make this the King, Baby. If you don't watch the movies first than you will never get the feel and you'll never be able to handle the ride. So, learn with: "The Evil Dead", "The Evil Dead 2" then the "Army of Darkness", and then the seasons. I envy anyone that gets to see this for the first time. If U haven't seen theses, watch the movies 1st, then the seasons. U R in for a spectacular trip. "Shop Smart, shop Evil-Mart."

Bought this product for a friend. The discs and case seem to be of good quality. I've heard of no complaints.

Got this for my son as a Christmas present. He loves Bruce Campbell and he is great in this series.

It's Awesome, I mean what else would you expect from Bruce Campbell, probably the greatest B movie actor of modern times. Add Lee Majors to the mix as Ash's dad, your talking TV gold. Lucy Lawless is also excellent, as is Ted Raimi. The show as a whole is excellent in a true to the source material way and sometimes even more over the top. Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago are shining stars in their own right, although it must be hard to compete with Bruce's scene stealing. Hell even the Pontiac is amazing, as always. A must own for an Evil Dead or Bruce Campbell fan.

Great Show. Well it is a bit intense but I guess that is what to be expected when you watch a Evil Dead the television Series with Bruce Campell. Thank you Sam Raimi for making this happening. I watched Evil Dead the first movie when i was 12 years old secretly with some friends in germany. Well it left an impact for sure for all of us watching this banned Movie at the time... now its back in all its gory... never dreamed of this could be happening... just finished season 3 and its amazing... Thank you again Sam and Bruce!!!

I finished watching this dvd yesterday and I must say that Ash is nuttier than ever. He was sane in the the first movie, but after that it went downhill. Awesome effects. It is sometimes a little bit to gory even for me. And a little bit confusing. I don't think I will buy the remaining two seasons. I will concentrate to watch Lucifer, A discovery of Witches, Sleepy Hollow and Supernatural instead. And I have four seasons of Z Nation to watch. It is just season 5 I have to buy.

Die Rezension bezieht sich nicht auf die Staffel, dazu kam es erst gar nicht.. Der Ländercode wird in Deutschland nicht unterstützt. Habe das auch erst bemerkt, als ich die DVD eingelegt habe. Die Rücksendung/Rückerstattung war aber kein Problem.

If you like the headline I wrote, it says it all about it. Also the TV series had great production values, & a great cast, every episode was like a grade a movie from the big screen with great special effects. You can easily binge on it if you are not careful & loose your self & your time. Every episode is like 25 min. long & I found it addictive like a good bag of potato chips.
