The heel is a great height...not too high and not too low. I got the black nubuck because I need it for a summer party and didn't want to go with the suede. My normal size in a sandal can be either an 8.5 or 9 and the 8.5 fits great. It fits nicely across the tip of my foot and the width was perfect. It seems very comfortable but I haven't worn it long enough yet to give a review about the comfort. The quality is good and I'm very happy with the sandal. I have ordered other shoes from Dream Pair and they have always been great. I wore these from 2:00 in the afternoon until about 1:00 in the morning, danced all night, and never took them off once. They rubbed in a couple spots but no major blisters and my feet weren't absolutely killing me the next day. They're cute and fit true to size. The chunky heel made them easier to walk/dance in.
