Easy to Use
I’m really impressed with the Evatage Split Ring Opener Tool. It’s incredibly easy to use—even for someone like me who used to struggle with opening split rings by hand. The design is simple but very effective, and it takes almost no effort to get the ring open and add or remove items. Best of all, it’s been a total lifesaver for my nails. I used to bend or break them trying to pry rings apart, but this tool completely eliminates that problem. If you work with keychains, jewelry, or fishing gear, this is a small tool that makes a big difference. Highly recommend!

Love my split Ring Pliers
Love my split ring pliers! So happy I bought them. Using on chicken wire for suncatchers. For me much easier than using jump rings. Thank you. Also a good price and arrived quickly!

Great for damaged hands!
I've thought for a long time about getting a split ring opener, but didn't think I needed to spend the money. After all, there are a lot of ways to open a split jump ring, it just takes ingenuity, right? But I have tendon and joint damage from Lupus, so no matter how much ingenuity I use, it's getting harder and harder to open those rings. So I did my research, and decided I needed to go with the tool, not the tweezer, and spend the extra money on a decent tool. I was RIGHT. It was well worth it!! I can open any split ring, from TINY (1mm) all the way up to big enough to hold a set of keys for a hotel custodian (10 cm), WITH EASE! (Only one contingency: the ring can't be offset! See pic#3! If the ring is off set, you CANNOT open it with the tool! You won't be able to "get a grip" on the ring to open it.) All I have to do is line the claw up and give it a little squeeze. Even if the ring is electroplated shut, it still pops right open! My only regret is that I didn't get one years ago!

It does the job
This tool does the job. Biggest problem is it does not really open the rings that much. If you only need to split a few ring this tool is OK. If you are working on a big project and need to split a lot of rings this tool is slow and cumbersome.
