These cups are perfect for those that need to tuck their chin to swallow thin liquids so they don’t aspirate/choke. The measurements on the cups helpful to monitor the amount of fluid intake. Sturdy construction (NOT flimsy) and lightweight for any weakness. Cups are not slippery so easy they are easy to hold and will flex a little if gripped really tightly (which is nice if you are assisting someone to drink so you don’t drop it) excellent product!

After my dad's stroke he has trouble swallowing, he's not allowed to use a straw because it allows too much liquid to enter & he coughs incessantly. He hates the cups that are a slow fill, and because the first set I purchased disappeared when his 2nd caregiver did. He's been using regular cups for months, and coughing every single time yet not getting enough hydration, so I bought a 2nd set and my mother tells me that that his coughing stopped once he switched to using these cup because he doesn't have to tilt his head back. These are terrific, and the lack of my dad's constant coughing is restoring my mothers sanity. :)

Not bad. This has been useful. It's not perfect. The sides are still going to hit the sides of your face, but you can tip this a little more than a regular cup thanks to the cutout. However, I do wish this had handles, or that it was thinner so that it was easier for people to hold. I appreciate the measurement markings as other people have noted. Also, although the color says gray, this is a translucent cup that's kind of whitish gray tinted, but it's not solid, and you can see the contents inside which is really important if you're helping somebody drink who has difficulty swallowing. Also really appreciate the three pack in different sizes. I tend to mix things in the largest one, and then dole it out in the smaller cups.

Works as expected for elderly persons who can't tip their head back. Smallest cup is great for taking pills.

If you have a senior that has that head down tendency or spinal issue these will help greatly. A situation where you have yo crush meds to administer Them and you want all the liquid consumed these may help greatly.

These are Ok, but I thought they would be more flexible so that I could squeeze the front end into more of a spout when feeding my 95 year old Dad. I would also like it if they came in clear so that my he could see what he is drinking. Still glad i bought them!
