This is a good brush that feels good to hold. The wood did start to crack a bit when brushing in the shower (I guess I should've expected this), but it's overall pretty durable. I'd recommend giving it a shot.

Good quality brush. Bristles are medium firmness, not too soft and not too hard. The curve of the brush makes it easy to use and your hair is brushed better.

A great brush for coarse (4c) hair. If you hair is on the thinner side, be cautious with purchasing this brush as it can be pretty harsh on the scalp. For the wavers out there, this brush is ideal if you’re wolfing (#3 guard +). In comparison to other hard brushes out there, this brush wins in the category of price range. The bristles have been holding, but for the first 3 uses you will lose several of them. Overall not a bad brush for the price point and you will see a difference in your results if you use it.

The brush works really well overall, but the durability has been disappointing. Within the first couple of weeks, one side of the brush split and the bristles completely fell out in that area. Now, about six months later, the other side has started to split as well, and I’m seeing the same issue with bristles falling out. At this rate, it seems like the splitting will continue and I’ll eventually have to replace it. I’ve had other hair brushes for years that have never had this problem, so I expected better longevity.

What you see is what you get. It’s a beautiful brush. The bristles are soft and durable.
