I have not tested this by throwing the keyboard or similar heavy handed activities.Placing in a backpack once a week with several rigid plastic items including a laptop appears fine with no scratches to the keyboard itself. The internal comes with a soft foam which means that you'll be able to squeeze in the adaptor the other side of this foam. There is no dedicated slot for the dongle but you could gently cut one into the foam if you needed to. Although this is a good product i believe this specific one is currently excessively priced. Id expect the cost to be no more than £15-20 vs the £31 currently being charged.
