I wish I could reply to other reviews on here that complain about "stiffness". Mine works just fine. Slides out with little to no effort but stays in place. To the ones that say its "heavy", probably weighs the same a cell phone with an otterbox. Definitely less than a water bottle. To the ones complaining that only the top of the striker is angled... thats now how you use it. You angle it 45 degrees and press. If you've ever used a magnesium stick, it's the same thing only you dont need to shave it and use your knife.
