Disappointing Flavor and Texture
I was excited to try this chorizo, especially since it claims to be from Spain. I remember enjoying this chorizo when I was a kid, more than 30 years ago. Back then, it was the brand to buy, according to all the adults, and they all thought it was great. However, the quality has suffered tremendously since then. The flavor was quite disappointing, lacking the authentic taste I was expecting. Additionally, the consistency was mealy, and it missed that nice tough chew you get from an authentic chorizo. After buying this, I called my mom and she laughed, telling me that this brand has been "basura" (garbage) for years! It's far from the rich, savory profile and satisfying texture that true Spanish chorizo should have. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing this again.
