Got my laminator yesterday late evening and was not in a rush to try it so waited until today to do some laminating of printouts of documents I have meant to have done for ages. The unboxing was quick and easy and consisted of the Laminator a corner cutter and several different-sized laminating sheets. Set it up on a nice flat surface in the kitchen and then set about some document laminating. I switched it on and it took I guess 90-120 to get to working temperature, no big deal I am in no rush. Prepared my docs in the sheets and set about laminating them. First off you need to get the sheet square in the laminator as the resulting couple of tries I had led to bend and uneven laminating, my fault not the units! The third attempt went fine and once the documents were squared up in the sheet it worked perfectly. If you are looking for a really fast laminator, sorry this is not for you, it is a question of slow and steady getting the job done, also not an issue as I am not in a hurry. The result is perfect, the lamination is excellent and even all around the A4 documents I laminated. In use, it is extremely quiet and of course, it gets hot so as anything like this keep is always best to keep it away from young children as they could get a burn from it. To sum up it is a value for money small good looking unit in black, with a cutter on the top that I doubt I will ever use but is there if you need such a thing, same as the corner cutter it is there if you need it. It has a very small footprint and wherever you use it it will not take up a lot of space. It is quiet in use and I can't really find any fault with it whatsoever plus I have from them a 2-year guarantee once registered with them. I look forward to using more as and when required. This laminator is ideal for someone who's looking for a basic unit that offers good value for money and does the job well. It's easy to use and even I managed a nicely sealed lamination first time without any problems. 1) Plug in to a standard socket. 2) Turn on and select hot or cold seal ( cold seal needs different pouches). 3) The unit comes with 30 bags of A4 , A5 and A6 pouches. 4) The power red light comes on and after about 40 seconds followed by the green light to tell you that the heat is now correct to laminate. 5) Load pouch sealed end first carefully aligning onto the rollers. 6) It takes about 1 minute to clear from the back end and allow to cool. This laminator will do up to A4 2 x125 microns ( 250 microns). This was my first trial using this and it worked perfectly. It comes with a hand held perforator for holes or rounding corners. Not bad - not bad at all!

Initially was looking for a laminator only - but then seen this one, with the guillotine cutter attached. As an added bonus, it also came with a little tool too round off the squared edges, making everything look more professional. Heats up really quickly, and with the laminate pockets included, can get to use straight away. Great laminator and cutters, and also has a 2 year guarantee too (which you need to activate). Definitely recommended

Fairly good laminator, wouldn’t get if I was using daily! Gets very hot and definitely doesn’t cool down in 10 minutes, if you want to laminate cold after using hot you’ll have to wait a good 30 minutes. The guillotine works pretty well accept it can’t cut the full length of A4 as it isn’t big enough! Comes with pouches for hot, no self adhesive ones for cold! Wouldn’t use hot for any tickets from events you want to protect or anything with a lot of printed colour as it will spread the ink and turn it black. Corner cutter also doesn’t work. Hole punch is very good though, if I could have given 3.5 starts I would. It’s good but not excellent however it is only £30.

Do not buy. I've bought two of these in the past two months. Having had a laminator for 4 years which finally died I thought I'd try this one. The first one of these I bought died within a few weeks. It chewed up a page which couldn't be released, started smoking and was unusable. Bad luck I thought. So I bought a new one and I have had it in use maybe 4 weeks and exactly the same thing has happened (but without the smoke this time). Besides the complete failure of two of these machines, they were not entirely wrinkle free either - about every 5th or so laminated sheet had wrinkles with no reason for it. Other than that it seemed quite a neat machine. Most pages came out well, didn't take too long to heat up and it came with some nice little accessories. But what a waste of 2 lots of my money.

Perfect size for a small office. Machine is quiet and quick to warm up.

Does what it says on the tin. Comes with a built in paper cutter and supplied laminate film in 3 sizes, small picture frames and key fob rings, mini hole punch and corner trimmer so you can hit the road running. Good clear instructions, easy to use, very quiet and perfect for home use.

Für Freizeit- und Hausgebrauch gekauft, tut es seinen rechtmäßigen Zweck, stinkt nicht und hält fest. Habe das Papier vorher mit Öl bepinselt (Fensterdeko), hält dennoch bombenfest zusammen.

Das Gerät macht genau was es soll für den Heimgebrauch/Hobby und kleine Büros. Es heizt schnell auf und ist fast unhörbar leise. Das Laminier-Ergebnis ist gut, wellenfrei und ohne Lufteinschlüsse. Der Lieferumfang mit Rollenschneider und Kantenabrunder und zus. noch einem Satz Laminierefolien unterschiedlicher Formate, ist für den Preis unschlagbar. Von mir eine Kaufempfehlung!
