I didn't want to replace the old candelabra fixture in a dark stairwell, so decided to try these super bright LED bulbs. WOW! Just one of these COMPLETELY out shone the 4-40 watt bulbs I was replacing by leaps and bounds! And with all 4 installed, it's like daylight in the stair well now! So much safer now!

Fits in almost any standard E26/E27 Base light fixture. Throws a lot of light in every direction. Fantastic light bulb, but make sure you get the correct colour temp for your purpose. The daylight white (5000K) is very bright, great for garage or workshop, but might be too bright a white for a living room. The 3000K is a much warmer white. I'm getting older and find I appreciate the better light these LED bulbs throw.

My garage light was very dim, and I was looking for ways to brighten it up. When I saw these lights, I was initially hesitant because they were LED. However, after reading the reviews and specifications, I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, the light is extremely bright with a pleasant color, and it illuminated my entire garage with just two bulbs. I’m extremely pleased with them. It has also shifted my mindset about LED lights, proving they can be just as good as the old incandescent ones.

Very bright and almost omnidirectional (near-360 degree.) Does what it says. Unlike those clear LED bulbs that look like regular light bulbs, these corn cob bulbs definitely put out much more light in a much smaller package. But unlike those other bulb-shaped bulbs, of which most say they are compatible with enclosed fixtures, these corn cob bulbs seem to produce enough heat to be felt significantly when touching it. The number of large diodes used to produce this much light doesn't surprise me. Even in an semi-encloded fixture, they will feel warmer than most regular LED bulbs. But the fixture remains cool to the touch. As does the bulb base. The bulk of heat radiates from the LED array behind the glass. But the heat in of itself shouldn't be a too big concern. Because LED bulbs of all form factors use transformers to convert electricity, make sure you switch off the fixture when not on use. For enclosed fixtures, find one labeled that's safe for use in it, and one with near-360 degree coverage as some bulbs have huge metal shielding around the base that prevent such full coverage. July 29 2024 update: one bulb's glass cracked, but remains fully operational. Am replacing since the glass is likely there for more than decorative effect and this was in a mostly-enclosed fixture. The other 3 I have remain fully intact.

I have been emailed by this company, outside of Amazon Messages, FIVE times in just over 1 day. They first offered me a $30 gift card to delete this review. Today, they offer $40. And somehow the last update, including a picture of the email, has been removed. My HONESTY is FREE. Light exposes corruption that darkness hides. The dim light produced by this seller violates Amazon's policy regarding sellers artificially manipulating reviews. "Seller is offering me money, refund, or something else to post or remove a review." YAT Lighting has been reported to Amazon for violating these policies. REVIEW We compared these using security camera footage, same location, same sockets, same camera, using FEIT 17w 1600 lumen bulbs and replacing them with these 20w 2500 lumen bulbs. It should be noted that the FEIT are more than 3 yrs old and have remained on from dusk to dawn every night (well over 10,000 hrs). Simply put, these bulbs cast longer shadows and have less visible area than the FEIT 17w 1600 lm bulbs ... and it wasn't even close. The end of our driveway is not visible with these bulbs, with the FEIT we can see the end of our drive and 1/2 of the width of the street. I would estimate that to be another 10 feet beyond the drive. And the color, these are closer to 2000K than 3000K. They should be slightly whiter than halogen bulbs. They are not! These are an uncomfortable orange color, not yellow, but orange. It is striking. It is reminiscent of the artificial color of High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lights. I don't know if this is blatant false advertising or defective product. Either way, I'm returning.

Seriously thought when I opened the bag it was one light! I was extremely disappointed. I can't believe how small these are when I was worried they would be too tall and not fight the housing. Tonight my daughter said they were twice if not more brighter than the other LEDs I purchased. Can't say anything about durability but so far I would buy again without hesitation. Update - I went ahead and finished off the inside of my garage with these lights. I am not lighting expert. I can't tell you if these are actually throwing on the power they claim but I can tell you they are much brighter than a normal 60 watt bulb. My garage is completely lit up now. My wife laughed and said the FBI is probably watching me now under suspicion of grow lights for a certain plant farm! That or she said I was signaling Jesus.

I have tried about 5 or 6 high powered LEDs. All are not as bright as advertised. None have meet life specifications. One group averaged only 100 to 200 hours. So far these are tying the best, with no failures so far. Brighter than some which had higher advertised lumens. So best bang for the buck of any high lumen bulb I have tried. I have several reviews on Amazon of others with 1 or 2 stars, which had higher overall rating than I gave them. I believe it is because I used them outdoors in light fixtures. For example the one with ~150 hours of life, two of them died when temperature here dropped to 8 degrees. Hoping these survive next winter.

Super bright and nice small size, BUT the first one lasted about 5 months. When I changed it out, it was full of water, not very waterproof. It was in an enclosed fixture outside not sure how it got wet or full of water.

I wanted to upgrade the brightness of an older-style ceiling fan light which had limited space for a bulb. The size of the bulb was as described and installed easily. They produce a good, bright light. However, three out of the four bulbs appeared to me to be more like 2700K than 3000K.
