Got this iron and immediately liked it. I’m a hobbyist who repairs my own electronics, and when my entry-level soldering iron broke, I started hunting for a serious upgrade. I saw the high ratings for the TS100, but then spotted the newer TS101 with USB-C—had to try it. This thing is a beast. For something so compact, it handles way more than I expected. Heats up fast, holds temp like a champ, and the tip options make it super versatile. I was considering the iFixit iron, but honestly, the price didn’t make sense compared to what this delivers. If you’re into precision work or just want a reliable tool that punches above its weight, this is it.

Really love this soldering iron, it has become part of my EDC in my back pack and my new go to. It is very light weight and compact, great for working anywhere, heats up really quick and maintains good heat with the right current source. I do wish it came with the blade tip instead of a conicle tip, but I do plan on ordering more tips for this iron

This comes with a 24v Power adapter and NO JOKE, I was able to SOLDER a battery tab back on a 18650 pack tat had a broken spot weld without damaging it! FAST heatup makes an astounding difference by having the heating element AND sensor near the tip. This WILL do micro circuits under a microscope up to #8 wire WITH EASE.... REALLY! NOW that potentially bad bit: My first one died with a "SENS-ERR" error code with no indication it was going to. Returned it and got another one. Checking online I found that this is a common failure mode. It is easily fixed with a replacement mosfet chip. I bought 22 of the Si4925dy chips for $5.22 from THAT country. Sure it will take several weeks to get here but I am being preemptive. WIDE assortment of tips make this a no-brainer. Has become my fave. I love that little guy.

This heats up really fast and temp seems accurate enough, I used the same range as my hakko and I got a good result. The only negative about this product is the size which lacks grip. It is thin and plasticy which I have difficulty holding them but simple grip tape(skateboard tape) fixed my problem. you will have far better soldering experience with this than the other portable solder like harbor freight and Ryobi soldering iron.

Wow never have I had such an awesome tool to use for the longest time i never saw the reason to spend more than $20 for a soldering iron until today. Right out of the box I put this iron to work and was able to handle everything I threw at it for the thicker gauge wires upped the temp and blasted through it easy. Although there are some cases where a better heat retention tip will be better for larger gauges. Also the size of this iron is amazing with how much power it has, always been use to the big bulky irons and this thing is tiny!!

It was fantastic while it worked. I used it few times, and today it broke. It keeps displaying temperature sensor error. I can't give more than 1 star to a product that broke after just few uses.
