Good for smaller cats !
Small Siamese enjoys the flat step ups - The top part which is the bed is rather small, so she fits cosy. A bigger cat would not fit as well.

Assembly is a nightmare
I needed a set of stairs so that my aging cat could reach a shelf that is 50" off the floor, so the traditional pet steps that are only 24" tall would not work. Given the price, I wasn't expecting top quality, but if it worked I would be happy. As other reviews have mentioned, the assembly of this was ridiculously difficult. I have assembled lots of furniture, so I am not a novice. When I followed the sketchy instructions, it seemed to go together ok, but the posts kept falling apart. The company enclosed a request to contact their customer service with problems, which I did twice by email with no response. I had already started the return on this when I decided to try one last time, and for some unexplainable reason, the second time the posts stayed put. I kept it and although my cat won't go near it yet, it seems sturdy enough (although I wouldn't use it if it wasn't pushed up against a wall). I wish that the material on the steps was thicker - it is just slick "fur" on top of MDF, but for the price I can't expect much.

Bed Too Small for Larger Cats
The TRIXIE Tulia Cat Tree comes with ‘assembly instructions’ that could be much better. It seems to be fairly stable but the ‘bed’ is too small for a larger cat. I purchased two but these do not meet our needs and don’t feel the value equals the cost.

The Top Bed, “Is To!” Solid lol
The bed at the top is perfectly solid unlike what a one-star review claims. It also has a flat soft cushion, removable, inside it. I’m ’just a woman and all’ but the picture instructions were not too difficult for me to figure out last April when I bought this. As for ‘senior’ cats? My senior cat is a feral and could never be convinced to climb any cat furniture, even in her prime. We’re terribly excited because a young 2-year-old claimed himself undisputed King of the Mountain, and his success is encouraging other cats like his sister to give those steps a whirl! (Another adult male claimed a particular step and no one gave him guff, either!) I have this structure against a wall and another bit of furniture the cats use like a lounge chair, upstairs by the bannister, in an otherwise unused section of carpet near the hallway. So it is braced on 2 of 4 sides. I’d try to do the Safest Thing with any piece of furniture.

Inadequate instructions, pieces cannot be properly tightened, a tree will soon be wobbling.
The instructions are inadequate because they don't indicate in what order the assembly should proceed. If you put all four base posts in first, you can't add the first level because you have to twirl that piece around the connecting screw to tighten it. Same with other pieces. There is no way to use the provided tool to tighten properly except on the bottom of the base. The cushion on top has a very confining backrest, which makes it inflexible and uncomfortable for an 11 pound cat. Also, never considered that a cat might not like the angled, quite narrow stairs. Will be giving this away.

No actual assembly instructions
Well it's still not together because the instructions are terrible it's just a picture of what it looks like assembled. It's going to take me at least 3x as long as it should to assemble because I keep having to go back, take something apart, and put other pieces back together, or move stuff around. I'm still not even sure which piece is which on their 'instructions', they look the same to me but some are numbered differently. It says there's instructions to download on their website but there aren't- at least for this item. I even emailed the company for help and have got nothing back after a day and a half so far. I bet there are cat towers just as cheap as this that have prime shipping and instructions, maybe look for one of those instead

Bed too small but steps are sturdy.
I bought for my geriatric cat. The top bed was too small for her to get comfortable, so I left that part off and she does like the steps to get to her table.

Great cat tree for cats who have trouble jumping
We got this cat tree because it more like stairs so our cats can get up on the counter to get to their water. They are getting older and having trouble jumping that high. they took to it right away. They sometimes sit int he bed but they dont like it being so open. if it was in a corner they would use the bed more. I bought it for the stairs and they use it. The instructions could be better. They didn't have a picture of the finished product in the instructions so i got the photo from amazon and it was a lot easy to put together with a picture of the whole thing. it took no more than 15 minute to put together. 1 allen wrench was needed and they included one.
