Review: Tactical look, comfortable grip, sharp out of the box - This is my third FLISSA knife and this one might be my favorite. The tactical look is great — the black blade coating and G10 handle give it a clean, aggressive appearance without being over the top. More importantly it feels right in the hand. The G10 grip is textured and comfortable, no hot spots even during hard use. FLISSA nails their handle ergonomics on the fixed blades — this one and the 9-inch Micarta model both feel like they were shaped by someone who actually holds knives. Came sharp out of the box, same as every other FLISSA I've bought. D2 steel, full tang, solid construction. The nylon sheath works fine for carrying. At 8.5 inches overall it's a versatile size. Big enough to handle real work but not so large that it's unwieldy. I use it around the property and it handles everything I've thrown at it. If you like the tactical fixed blade look and want D2 steel without paying tactical prices, FLISSA keeps delivering. I've bought four of their knives now and haven't been disappointed by any of them.

A: Sure you could. It's a good medium sized knife, so it might feel a bit small as a bushcraft or survival knife in your massive sandwich clamps,  but it would be A-OK as a dinner knife I'm sure

A: You could put MOLLE straps through the holes on the side of it. But out of the box, no.

A: Yes, Rockwell is between 56 and 62. The steel used for the blade is also real D2.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A well made, functional tool for most outdoor uses

This is a well made knife of quality materials. The blade is marked "D2" which is a tool steel providing many qualities for a knife blade. It has a nicely designed curve along the top of the 1/8" thick integral tang blade from the drop tip to the lanyard hole drilled into the upper rear of the tang. it has a very useful, smooth jimping just forward of the grip with a finger guard integral with the blade/tang. The grips are nicely designed, textured G10 material made to fit the contours of the blade, and at just over 1/2" thick the grip provides a comfortable hold which will fit all but the largest hands. The sheath is a polymer material made specifically to fit this knife which will firmly snap in when inserted. A belt slot is on the back side of the sheath providing a high carry on a waist belt. This knife will serve most outdoor uses. It is small enough to easily carry yet large and heavy enough for broad utility.
