This tool made cutting out old carpet and padding go quick and easy. The blade cut through the carpet of an 1,100 sq ft house and not go dull. It was easy to grip and control, but not too heavy.

The grip is great. Its the best feature. As a knife maker I can say the blade is good. This is a great knife. The only problem i have is that there is no sheath or blade cover. That is a big negative!!!! Thats why I gave it 4 stars.

Used this knife to remove wall to wall carpeting in my basement game room, bar and office. The area is around1200 square feet. I was concerned that the blade would become dull, since there is a concrete floor underneath the carpet, but that didn’t happen. The tip is very sharp for cutting through the carpet, plus there is a serrated edge on the inner curve of the blade that makes for easy trimming of loose carpet fibers. Had never attempted this before and it was much easier than I expected.

This is a strong little thing to remove carpet. My carpet has become damaged, and I needed a tool to remove it that was cheap and fast. This one really works well!
