The price was extremely reasonable considering competing products are substantially more expensive. I was able to now clean hard to reach places with my previous glass cleaner due to the steel scraper. I haven't had any damage or scratches on the glass from this scraper and the blade is dull enough not to cut your hand if you have to place it in a tank. Review: Very strong magnet and is extremely effective - Probably one of the best scrapers that I've used so far. The magnet is really strong and i have no issues with it separating on my rimless tank, which is 8 mil thick. The 2 different blade attachments are a nice touch: one is plastic and the other metal. I used the plastic blade and it easily removed the algae after a pass. Does not feel cheap in any way. My one and only complaint: the bottom of each half is essentially similar to velcro tape. The half that stays on the outside of the tank has a pretty high pile. If you store the scraper (I don't like leaving it in the tank) by putting the 2 pieces together, you may have a hell of a time prying them apart when it's time to clean. The velcro essentially latches on. Add the fact that the magnet is strong and you'll have to apply quite a bit of force to separate both the magnets and the velcro at the same time. I needed a butter knife to pull them apart and pry the pieces loose. So spare the cursing and just put something like a paper towel in between for storage. Overall great product.
