I'd say good value. It's tricky getting the level perfect because it has no ideal fixing points, but once you have it set up, it works well. Easy to clean out too.

No more overflowing
Use a hose fitting and a clamp with this and no more overflowing water troughs. I have one on a hose pipe and one on an IBC rainwater collector. Brilliant.

Works really well - but may need a tweak
Great - with one caveat. I understand that some reviewers have had annoying failures with this device. Mine stopped working for no apparent reason so I dismantled it (just 2 screws). Actually quite well put together except that the plastic float inside moves up and down freely on side indents. The float is very light, so if it settles not quite vertical, it can stick either open or closed. I put candle wax on mine and so far has been perfect. A tiny bit of lube or graphite might also work.

Works well
This is a great little float valve. Works very well just one problem there is no nut on the thread of the pipe, that allows the water through, and secures the float to the wall of a tank So it is not easy to attach and seal the float.

Ideal for pond
Bought this for 2 reasons: A) Didn’t have to keep checking when to turn off water when topping up pond after cleaning filters. Always used to be too late and over full B) in case the pond level dropped when I wasn’t home due to leaks. a) works brilliantly and has been faultless b) thank God not proven but I have 100% confidence it would help top up depending on size hole or issue causing water level to drop All in all very very happy with purchase after having installed for some time

Good product worked well.
Bought this for when we need to fill the garden water butts with a hose as I often forget and they overflow. Fitted this so it cuts out when they are about full

Brilliant little piece of kit
Very easy to install on my duck water feeder, attached to spring water pipe easily. Works perfectly.

Perfect device for my pond
Got a small leak on my pond still after several attempts to repair it. Bought this to top up as I kept forgetting to turn the tap off. Never looked back
