Excellent addition to my MacBook Pro. Great space saver on desk and saves additional power cables plus allows networking with desktop monitors and other Apple hardware. Substantial feel to the docking ‘cradle’ and easy to setup.

My monitor has usb c which allows laptops to connect for charging, large screen docking or two screen set up and monitor port use. This allows quick docking for my laptop by plugging the usb c into this. It’s quick, solid and allows the laptop to connect and release without fiddling around with the cables.

This product is advertised to have two thunderbolt 4 docks and the MagSafe charger to easily adapt your peripherals and charge at the same time. I thought this would be the solution for my dual monitor setup but the thunderbolt 4 connections did not read anything. I tried a few times but it never worked. For the money paid out for this dock, I expected it to work. A totally pointless exercise and now have to wait 2 weeks before I am refunded. 1 star rating is too much as that would suggest it worked to some degree. An expensive piece of junk

Great ideal enables me to use my MacBook at home with a large screen.

It didn’t work for me, checked the model etc and all as suggested, but when I plugged in my MacBook Pro it kept shutting down after 10 seconds on the display, only to open again when the mouse was moved, logged in again then it shut down mid application load after exactly 10 seconds - it was consistent though - exactly 10 seconds :(

works well with regard to fit and general operation. My display at times goes out and then comes back on, I have played wit the cable but that did not fix it. Also if you have a powered external drive, anytime your computer goes to sleep, it will read your drive as being incorrectly ejected. I got 40 messages over one weekend. After reporting this to the company they proactively offered to refund my money and also stated I could keep my dock and offered solutions to try to keep my drive connected. In the end I was able to find a solution which was to keep my USB Hub powered not only by the USBC connected to the computer but the additional port for USBC power input on the dock. That solved the drive disconnection issue. Well done, and great customer service. Now this dock is a part of my daily workflow.

I bought this dock with the 2x 3k HDMI bundle and it worked out well. I did not need to get the bundle with the display link adapter, which was nice. The stand itself functions more for aesthetics and is functionally more or less a hub - the dock itself is in the dongle the attaches to the side of the side of the stand. To hook up the second monitor, they give you a USB-C to HDMI adapter that plugs into the dock. It would be nice if all of this was integrated into the stand to help with cable management, but that's a minor gripe to me. Overall it looks nice, is simple to set up, and works as intended. I paired this with the KVM below to make a PC/Macbook workstation.
