Perfect Blend of Comfort, Quality, and Versatility!
I've been using the Razer Barracuda X for a while now and it's honestly exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is crisp and immersive, whether I'm gaming or listening to music. What really stands out is the comfort—super lightweight and perfect for long sessions without any ear fatigue. The wireless connectivity is seamless, and I love that it works across multiple platforms (PC, Switch, PS5, and even my phone). The detachable mic is a great touch—clear voice pickup and easy to remove when not gaming. Battery life is also solid; I can go days without needing a recharge. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable, all-around wireless headset that delivers premium audio and comfort without breaking the bank, the Barracuda X is a no-brainer. Highly recommended!

The headset is awesome and very comfortable 🌟⭐️
I’m really impressed with the Razer Barracuda X. The sound is super clear and really pulls me into the game. Switching between my PC, console, and phone is easy and works without any hassle. The headset feels really comfortable even after hours of use and the battery lasts forever. The microphone picks up my voice well and cuts out background noise, which is perfect for chatting with friends. The controls on the headset are simple to use and right where I need them. If you want a wireless headset that just works great and feels good to wear, this is definitely one to go for. Great Bluetooth connectivity although you need to manually connect it each time other than that great stability. Fits great of the head is adjustable and comfortable to wear over a long period of time. The value for money is great you get what you pay for, or in perspective even more!

very excellent headset! :)
Firstly, these are LOUD, and I mean I have to turn them down a teeny bit! Never had that before, all other headphones I always felt could have been a touch louder! Sound quality is exceptional, very clear, very clean and you can customise with the app. Oh and battery life is pretty long, maybe charge them once a week depending on use. Nit picking slightly, but downsides, occasionally I have to unplug the dongle and replug it on startup to make it work. Not a huge issue, very easy to do, but would prefer not to have to. Also, sometimes the headphones are in what I call "75% mode" as in they are at 100% but sound like they are 75%, and I have to go to volume mixer, grab the volume slider (which is at 100%) and pull it down, then back to 100% and its back to REALLY LOUD :D strange little bug, again no massive deal, but would prefer not to have to. If you can find these on a good deal, Id say I very much recommend them.

Excellent Lightweight Headset with Impressive Comfort and Connectivity 🍉
Picked these up ahead of the BF6 launch, and they’ve already made a strong impression. The overall sound quality is very good, though the 7.1 virtual surround is a bit underwhelming, so I’ve stuck with Windows Sonic for a more natural experience. I previously used the Corsair Virtuoso RGB SE Wireless, and while that was a premium headset, the Barracuda X feels far lighter and noticeably more comfortable during long gaming sessions. I can wear these for hours without ear fatigue — a major improvement as my old pair used to rub against my left ear. Wireless connectivity was flawless and fully compatible with PC. It connected instantly, and after updating the drivers and firmware, it correctly switched from a generic USB audio device to the proper Razer Barracuda X profile. Make sure you complete this update if you decide to purchase a pair. Volume controls are smooth, compatibility is excellent, and comfort and build quality are impressive for the price. A superb lightweight wireless headset that delivers great audio, dependable connectivity, and all-day comfort. Highly recommended.

Poor quality all round
Not worth it for the price. There are cheaper headsets with far better build/sound quality. Disappointed. They are tight on the head and cheap/plastic. The foam ear pads are so soft there is no point them being there as they offer little comfort. The buttons and volume wheel are stiff and not very responsive. The sound.... terrible. I have a £20 BT Sony headset that sounds miles better than this. Final thought, buy Logitech instead. Same price, far better quality.

Bluetooth works well under Linux
So, these headphones are marketed by Razer as "7.1 surround", but in reality they have two speakers in them, they're stereo. The 7.1 is a clever audio trick that's done by the Windows drivers. They make a silicone model of someone's head, put two microphones inside the ears and then move sounds around the head to simulate things happening in different directions. Clever software analyses the slight delay and the change in "shape" of the sound due to the shape of the ears and the head. They then create a "convolver" model from it. So, the sound comes from behind - they use software to twiddle with the sound to make it /sound/ like it's coming from behind, according to the model they built using the fake head in the lab. There are loads of these convolver models out there, and razer's one is... pretty good... But the reality is that the headphone are still just two mid-range speakers. They don't have the punchy bass to simulate some far-behind thumping noises, and they don't have the very high treble to simulate some water dripping from above accurately enough. So, to say they're 7.1 surround is like saying a ferrari can fly because you can technically load it up into a C130 and drop it out the back. Yes, technically, it'll fly, but it just won't be very good at it. So, when you plug these headphones in they'll start to work just fine, but they'll be stereo headphones. That's what you get out of the box on Windows and Linux. A decent pair of stereo headphones. If you want "surround" you need to install the special surround-convolving software/drivers. But these only exist for Windows. If you want to do it on Linux, you need to enable the filter-chain for "sink-virtual-surround-7.1-hesuvi.conf". But that convolver model is proprietary, so you need to go find the ".wav" file for a 7.1 model for it to convolve the stereo into surround properly. In short, getting it to be 5.1 or 7.1 is a faff on Linux. Doable with research, but a faff. Plus, you can only enable the filter chain for everything, not just the headphones. I did it, and I downloaded the best 7.1 hesuvi model I could find and played a bunch of games, and I have a sad revelation.... Playing the games in stereo was just as good. Adding the front/back element from the 7.1 surround just wasn't clear enough on these stereo headphones. The drivers just can't quite handle the clarity, they're too muddy. So, other than that, the battery life is excellent, the BT stability is excellent, the controls are fair, the recharge time is good, and the sound quality is... middling to good. The only strange thing for me is that they support usb charging, but they don't support being usb headphones. It would seem an obvious choice.. But no, they can be 3.5mm audio jack headphones when they're switched off (i.e. you can't even charge them when using them as standard headphones), they can be Bluetooth, and they can be 2.4GHz (with the dongle - more on this later), and can be charged when using Bluetooth/2.4Ghz. So, to the 'dongle'. It does seem to work well, and has a long range. But the phones don't seem to want to auto-connect to the dongle when they switch on. The dongle has a firmware bug (apparently) that means that you have to unplug it, and re-plug it whenever you want to re-connect the headphones after a sleep / reboot. That's just silly. Plus the Bluetooth is really quite good anyway, so I've just given up on the dongle for now. But the biggest thing for me is that the dongle takes up a USB port, and the phones also can take up a USB port when charging. If the phones had been designed better, the USB cable would have allowed them to be usb headphones. If the dongle had been designed better, it'd have had a USB 'in' port on the back, so the phones could just piggyback on the same port as the dongle. It's USB-C, so there should be more than enough current for the dongle AND the phones to work. I know these are midrange 'phones, but there are some curious design choices and strange quirks that make me think Razer slightly took their eye off the ball with these, especially claiming them to be 7.1 headphones. As standard, wireless, stereo, bluetooth headphones, they get a straight five stars. As multi-mode, 'gaming' 7.1 2.4GHz headphones, they get about 3 stars. For Windows support, they get five stars. For Linux support, they get three. So, it all averages out to about 4 stars for me. Good, but could be better at this price point.

Extremely good
I bought these headphones for discord. Zoom and casual music on the go. The Mic is high quality and sounds extremely good and your very clear. You can move the mic freely but stays in place. The headset has 50hrs of battery which is extremely useful because I can easily go a couple weeks without charging. I usually unplug the mic and use the headset outside because the logo blends in nice so it's quite hard to see. The sound quality is clear and you can hear everything clearly. Another benefit of these headphones are the fact you don't have to install any Razer Bloatware which is a dream because razer synapse slows down your PC start up and I also found a bug where your headphones won't connect because of how razer starts up. The packaging is also very nice. It comes with the headphones, a decently long usb to usb C lead. A Usb Connector but their also comes an adapter which swaps it to regularly Usb and extends the range. The headphones are plastic but have a metal band so I'm not worried about their longevity. Additionally, the ear cups are extremely soft, they don't warm your ear up to the point of it hurting and the sound cancelling is quite nice because it doesn't cancel everything out unless you max the volume to which this gets loud. You can download the Razer Audio app which allows you to Adjust the EQ but I find these headphones don't need that. I highly recommend these as there extremely good value and will last quite a few years. They are also compatible with PlayStation and Xbox but only through the AUX cable.

Great sound and comfort but broke within a week.
This is a fantastic headset for the sound and features. Unfortunately like most Razer products it didn't last very long. I bought this to replace my old Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 which broke after 5+ years of use. Initially I was pleased with the Barracuda X. It has a nice sound which is more balanced than the scooped Cloud 2 sound signature. It is extremely lightweight and comfortable. The wireless is a bit flaky and bluetooth just sounds horrible, but I see that as an extra rather than a must as I play wired all the time. If you are after a headset with a solid wireless connection this is probably not for you. I had to return after a week as I could hear a loose screw rattling in one of the earcups. Razer have a tendency to make fantastic products with poor durability... but I thought this would have at least lasted longer than a week. Pros: - Very lite and comfortable - Good sound quality (when wired) - Good mic Cons: - Cheap build - Bluetooth audio is terrible - Wireless is flaky and often cuts off the mic. Compared to other headsets: - Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 (original non-HP one) Barracuda X has almost as good audio quality, better mic, worse build quality - Kingston HyperX Cloud Alpha S (after HP bought the company) Barracuda X has way better audio, way worse build quality. - Logitech G Pro X (what I settled for in the end) Barracuda X has slightly better audio when using the 3.5mm audio cable, but the Logitech G Pro X is better in every other department and tweaks with the included software can really enhance the audio from the earcups and the mic. Would I recommend? If you can get it cheap, then yes get it but don't expect it to last long as the materials are made from very light plastics.

Its a great headset.
Its a great headset. We have 4 of them. It works fantastically with Windows 11 using either Bluetooth or the wireless dongle.

One of the best hybrid gaming headset.
This is a great pair of headset with clear sound and perfect design and the best part it connects with my pc and phone at the same time so i can seamlessly switch. Its durable and light weight with great mic quality. Overall for gaming hybrid headset for casual gaming and music. If you want to do gaming, movie and music do not think just go for it. But if you want only for esports gaming i suggest go for Razer kraken or black shark.
