I tried to contact Virgin to order a new remote for my Hitachi TV, but could never get through either on the website or by phone. Decided to order a new remote from Amazon. I found that I didn’t mind having to pay for the new remote. The remote is brilliant. I am sure it is smaller than the original and more compact. It is lovely to hold. The + and - sound buttons have never worked on my previous TV remote since I had a TiVo box. I have to use the TiVo box to adjust the sound level - which is OK.
