Works. I have my JDS element dac plugged in with this. I'm not going to pretend like this improves audio quality. A digital signal is a digital signal. I bought this because it for its aesthetic qualities. It also happens to work just as well as any other USB cable, so it gets 5/5 for fulfilling both criteria.
