Have an Ember mug already so decided to get a cup as well. Love it, slightly smaller and without a handle but ideal for a slightly smaller drink. Can be used on existing charging coaster as well.

Now, like I, you might have felt that something like this were expensive for what it is. Yes, it isn't cheap for sure. But, its not a gimmick either! This is a fantastic product, and perfect for those who wfh at a desk in winter, especially in the cooler months. This keeps drinks piping hot and has good battery life too.

I bought this mug from the Ember Store on the UK Amazon site. The mug was given as a gift and I am not able to return it to Amazon. I have asked Ember to resolve the issue. Their response was to say that the "best they can do is sell you an adapator for the UK...". I am not impressed with their customer service and would be cautious about dealing with them again.

I read a few good reviews of this product and thought I'd give it a go. I've been very impressed! I often work at home and don't get to drink a coffee right away. This means I don't have to put up with cold coffee any more. Compared to microwaving a cold coffee, this is way better. I set the cup to 52.5°C and the flavour remain (unlike when I microwave cold coffee). Absolute game changer.

Bought as a gift for a teacher, they loved it! Very easy to use, keeps drinks warm, a little pricey but the brand is reliable (I have tried cheaper ones before) easy to plug and play.

I always find the 1st couple hours of work are flat out and i ussualy don't get a sip of coffee until a couple of hours in, by which time it's long cold. The whole idea of this is that you link ot to your phone via bluetooth, pick a temperature Nd when your drink cools it keeps it to that temp for as long as possible. The box contains the cup (strangely no handle), a charging dock (that looks like a saucer), and a plug with adaptors for uk/eu /asia plugs. Which is a really nice touch. When opening the box it looks very smart and upmarket i was very impressed. You will have to download the ember app to use this device properly but it is designed very well and connects to your mug easily and allows simple controls. You can also switxh between degrees F and C. The mug itself feels metalic with a cermaic coating and is heavy. It's very stable and bottom heavy. You would really have to try hard to nock this over. The saucer or charge plate has a large warning not to get any moisture or liquid on it. Which seems odd as it would be great to use as a saucer... But if a coffee ring or dribble can do damage, best not. To setup press the power button on the bottom of the mug, open the ember app and linknthe devices, then choose your temp and that's it. I set this for high 50s then disapeared off to the garage for a few hours. When i came back i had an alert on the phone to let me know it had run out of power and the coffee was not cold but alot cooler than 55 degrees. It then needs a couple hours to charge up ahain. Coffee no2 was had at the table and after 40 mins was still piping hot. Value wise this is not cheap. It is a luxury item and it's nice to have such a luxury.

I have a bean to cup machine which produces a hot coffee however it cools off when I put milk from the fridge in it. No I don’t always have a chance to froth it. The cup brings it back up to a good temperature within a couple of minutes. Ideal when trying to also deal with getting the child’s breakfast done at the same time. Well built and easy to clean.

This is a great product, and this is actually the second time I’ve tried to give it a chance. However, there are a few issues that prevent me from keeping this cup. I’m referring specifically to the 178 ml cup. I prefer a 150 ml coffee serving, which seems perfect, but here’s where the main drawback lies. My coffee machine makes coffee at just over 75°C, while the maximum temperature the cup maintains is 62.5°C. With this volume, I end up drinking the coffee before the warming feature even has a chance to kick in and make a difference. Perhaps if you use the 414 ml Smart Mug 2 for tea, for example, and drink it slowly, the heating function might come into play. In conclusion, this is a very good product, but it’s not ideal for those who prefer their beverages to stay hot. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return it again.

Ember cups are a fantastic concept and incredibly useful, but I’ve encountered some challenges with the company's aftercare service. It's frustrating that I've had to rely on Amazon for repeated replacements of my cups. For users who utilize them often, it can become a hassle to request repairs or full replacements regularly. It’s disappointing, especially considering the investment. I hope the company can improve their customer support to match the quality of their product!

Finalmente un prodotto che fa quel che promette. Dopo aver provato diversi “scaldatazze” che non riescono a mantenere il calore questo fa il suo dovere. Si può scegliere a quale temperatura mantenere il liquido attraverso una app sul telefono. Forse un po’ macchinoso per un over 50 ma ce la si può fare 😅 Unica pecca il prezzo di vendita molto alto.

It was great for almost exactly a year - then it started to fail maintaining heat. Will have to buy another - at full price of course.

My wife uses this everyday and she absolutely loves it! She wants another one in a different colour! Great product keeps your drinks at a set temp and works amazing!
