This blanket is a happy green color, thin and lightweight, it feels a lot like tent material rather than a plush picnic blanket. For beach days that’s actually a plus since sand just slides right off instead of sticking like it would on a fabric blanket. It also comes with stakes, which is a nice touch for keeping it in place if it’s windy or you’re near the water. It’s not thick or cushy, so if you’re picturing a soft lounging blanket for the park, this isn’t quite that. But that’s not really what I needed it for, I just wanted something to keep my stuff off dirty grass or ground. I actually bought it for a Jazz in the Park day and it worked perfectly for us, kept everything clean and off the ground without any hassle. My favorite feature is the attached pouch. You can shake the sand off and stuff the blanket right back in without ever losing the pouch since it’s sewn on. Makes it super portable and easy to toss in a beach bag or car. It’s also easy to wash and dries super quickly on low heat, so cleanup is basically a non issue. Overall, it’s thin but sturdy, easy to wash, and genuinely convenient thanks to the attached storage pouch and included stakes. Great for beach trips or park days, just don’t expect a cozy lounging blanket.

The WEKAPO Beach Blanket is a good size, lightweight, and easy to pack. The sand/water proof material makes cleanup seamless. It folds into a compact pouch so it's easy to pack. Works well in washer/dryer. The only thing that I had an issue with was when it was windy at the beach. It was hard form me to keep down even with the metal sticks to hold down due to it being so lightweight. I'm in Cali so it's not often it's that windy at the beach so still love the blanket.

Used for the beach and it was perfect. The lightweight material packs up easily, and the sand just flings off of it. I scooped sand into the corner pockets to hold it down- no need for the stakes. It did stain a little when I put sunscreen on and lay down, but that's not an issue for me. It was big enough for 2 to lay down comfortably with plenty of room around us.

Love it! So lightweight and easy to carry along. Corner pockets for sand and stakes included to ensure that it doesn’t blow away. Pretty colors that match my beach umbrella. Not for picnics on wet grass or lying on wet sand. But on dry sand, it’s perfect. washable. Thin but strong material. Easy to use and roll back up into the included pouch. Very pleased with this purchase.

I’m really impressed with this beach blanket! The quality is great, and it does exactly what I was hoping it would. It’s lightweight and folds down very compactly, so it’s easy to pack and carry without taking up a lot of space. Great quality for the price! It’s lightweight and thin, but still substantial enough to provide a comfortable barrier from the sand while remaining breathable. My favorite part is how easily the sand rolls right off. It makes packing up after a beach day so much easier and keeps everything much more comfortable and mess-free. It also looks really nice and feels well made. Such a simple, useful thing to have for the beach, especially when you don’t want to bring half the sand home with you! Definitely recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I did around 3 hours of research on XL beach blankets and finally settled on this brand and color. I looked all over the internet and at camping stores even considered buying a packable waterproof tarp/ ground sheet for tents but came to the conclusion the dark colors would get too hot in the sun and the cost was double. The grey and light blue is a nice combination- neutral enough to be inconspicuous on the beach but still bright enough not to look like a dirty old blanket. The problem with a lot of XL blankets in neon orange etc is that they are so massive and visually loud the whole beach gawks- unless you want to be the center of attention. The quality seems really good so far, the color blocks are sewn together by triple stitching, the fabric feels really silky and smooth on the skin, and there is a bit of sheen that reflects light, which makes it visually nicer than some tarp or dull and drab dollar store tablecloth. I love how it compacts down really small, which makes it possible to pack in carry-on bags for flights (obviously without pegs for security). The 10’ x 9’ size might seem like it is excessive but it’s not. It’s nice to have an additional foot of fabric above and below you when stretched out arms extended. Sand stays off much better when the edges of fabric are not subject to movement. A dreamy size for 1 or 2 people and essential for a family. If these were to ever retail at Costco they would fly out the door. Overall a very solid buy.
