Quality binder, seams won't rip, hold lots of papers
I homeschool my 7th grade son and have since he was preschool age. Each year we use a three ring binder with added tabs to keep track of our work. After using other brands, I finally purchased an Avery binder one year and was happily surprised at how much better it held up than the other brands. Now, Avery is the only brand that I purchase and I order one each year as I am preparing for a new homeschool year. I like the ease of opening the rings, and the larger binders hold sooooo many papers. I also like the pockets on both interior covers; it's handy for keeping specific forms, calendars, etc at my fingertips. The clear view front cover is handy as well because it allows me to create a cover sheet for our binders (you can also download a template to use to create a spine label as well which is super-helpful to identify which binder you need from the shelf). The best thing I like about these Avery binders is that no matter that we use them on a daily basis, opening and closing them multiple times, the seams have not ripped like other binders have done. I like these so well that I use separate ones for household information, recipes, garden info, product information booklets and warranty info. I highly recommend these Avery binders and I will continue to use them in the future.

GOOD RING CLASPS! Get this binder if you're undecided.
Had for about 6 months now. Overstuffed with sheet-protected pages. Works well but if you overfill it, it might not be as easy to access what you need. I don't have to take pages out because I just take sheets out of the sheet protectors themselves rather than out of the binder, but if you have to take pages out it might be hard if it's full. I like these ring clasps much better than the black-tabbed ones on similar binders; those don't hold together very well. If you're deciding on one, these ring clasps are definitely superior. I can't attest to how long the folder holds up because I've only had it for half a year and don't use it too often, but so far it's good. Maybe a bit expensive compared to store prices but pretty average, and very good relative to online prices. Lots of nice little transparent pockets everywhere on it too.

Rounded D-Ring works great.
Well made. Rings allign great. Semi-D or rounded D-ring is really nice to flip through a large volume of paper. Locking clips are great if you have heavy paper laods and these binders have them. The double inside pockets are great for extras. I have not had to carry this around and have yet to fill it up but I used to work with binders all day and know the value of a good one. I recomend that you three hole punch a piece or sturdy paper or thin cardboard as the first bottom page as that assures your bottom pages stay nice and flat with that much paper weight.

Really sturdy oblong rings! Good Value.
I preface this with, I am kind of an office/school supply snob. These binders are a great value. The cover is good quality. The rings are the best part. Kind of an oblong shape, somewhere between the traditional round ring and the D ring, they are easy to load and REALLY strong. Totally important when you have a 3" binder stuffed to the gills, like I do.

Good, but very difficult to open
Sturdy, well made, and can hold a lot of papers, but the rings are incredibly difficult to open. You cannot open simply by pushing down the end tabs, you must pull on the rings, and they may or may not even stay open! I’ve never had such a struggle! I almost returned them, but because I do not plan on opening them often, I will use them.

This is the one you've been waiting for
If you're still re-using those dusty old 5-ring binders your grandpa left you in his will, you need to step up your game and get yourself some of these nifty 3-ring binders. No more manually punching those last two holes in every sheet of paper you have to file in a binder. You know the ones you never quite get punched in the right spot so you have overlapping holes and your files look like some inept intern was in a hurry to get to the bar for the end of happy hour. Once you start using the industry standard 3-ring binders you'll want to take a look at the Bostitch HP40 hole punch. You'll be the go-to person in the office when others see your shelves lined with neat 3-ring binders and the enviable Bostitch HP40 at the ready on your desk. You can thank me later. At happy hour maybe.

Contrary to others complaints.. mine is ok! 👍🏻
No complaints from me on the binder I got. It has been working just fine for the couple of months I have been using it. I get a new one every year for school portfolio review and take it out once a week or so and add some pages of work done inside the sheet protectors I also bought. Working just fine. If I was going to use as a daily household or schedule binder or for something with frequent use I would bring around I would buy something more heavy duty. I love that I can print out the spine and cover and just slide in the openings. This is just like ones bought at box stores and similarity priced so got on here instead of making a special trip. If the price was lower here I would buy more!
