I could only use two lag bolts but that was an allowed configuration in the instructions. The mount can hold up to a 90”, 115 lb TV and has hydraulic piston to maintain the position of the TV. I like the possibility of upgrading to a bigger, heavier TV without needing to get a new mount. I thought the installation was easy and the instructions were clear. Definitely read the instructions, take measurements and find your studs before you start drilling into studs. The arm is kinda heavy, but that’s understandable since you need steel to hold +100 lb TV. Once we hung the TV on the arm, it was pretty easy to secure and adjust the hydraulic piston assistance.
