Self Watering Planter Box (4, 7")

This is a good product, I am very satisfied with it. The self-watering wicks work well.

After nearly four months of trial and error, I'm whole heartedly recommending these fantastic self-watering pots. I'm not getting any prizes, money or benefits for my review, it's only my discovery and honest view over every other I've tried, and these are worth the wait (of there is one) and more importantantly, the price of this product. Try them. Nothing to lose because they have free return. PICTURES...a bit of my display. VARIOUS POT SIZES...10 inch, 7 inch, 5 inch, and 4 inch pots. I've tried many self- watering pots and what I believe is so amazing, besides the great customer service, is that these pots work the best (when using the right soil mixes). They are sturdy (not flimsy) and have plenty of room for root growth. There's plenty of drainage holes, and come with, white gravel or multi-colored small lecca balls, two wicks per pot (I'm using one for my Hoya). The reservoir is clear and deeper (1.25" or 3.175 cm) than other pots. They are top notch, beautiful (I'm using all white), easy to use, and a nice step away from the round. The best and astounding part of the great plant pots is that they have MAGNETS in the base that hold the water reservoir to the pot. Absolutely INGENIOUS.

These self watering pots are a real game changer!! I have spent decades desperate to grow herbs on my window sill and failing miserably every year... until these little beauties entered the picture, that is! I kid you not, every year I would buy a little basil plant, take it home, remove all the extra shoots and replant it. And every year, no matter what I did, that little sucker would die on me, within two weeks! Then I bought these little pots and now I can barely keep up with harvesting all of my fresh herbs; they're so happy and vigorous that I have to give some away to neighbors! Herbs are thirsty little greens and these pots cutout all the guess work; I make sure the bottom tank always has water and the plant drinks whatever it needs. And, because the bottom tank is clear it makes it easy to know when to fill it. I also really like the rectangular shape because I can sit them side by side, allowing for more growing area than if they were round. I really love these pots, the price was great for what you get, and not killing herbs is even better! They have tons of drainage holes, which is nice to have (if you're top watering) but not necessary, seeing that they're meant for bottom watering. They're pretty lightweight but not flimsy at all. With all the above love for these planters, you're probably wondering why I removed one star. First let me say, they are near perfect and I would 100% recommend these pots!! However, I also think the design could use a slight update, in two areas... 1). The hole in which you add the water should go a bit deeper, into the pot. At the depth it is now, you have to add the water very slowly or it will splash back out. 2). IMHO, the magnets, that hold the two pieces together, are a bit unnecessary. With the magnets you have to use two hands, without the magnets you could just easily lift the top, to add the water. In fact, the hole to add water wouldn't even have to be made deeper if I could easily lift the top to add it. Anyway, like I said: great pots, great price, and herbs so vigorous you'll be supplying all your friends and neighbors!;-)
